This is the closest one to me to empty my cans now seeing the one on lemon in walnut no one is ever there each time I go. This place has long lines like all recycling sites… recycling bottles and cans. I enjoy it knowing im helping the planet in the 2% way I can. Hoping to do more later. Heal the bay! …etc. We all need to help plus if ever low on cash recycling gives you bk some cash not much but ever little bit helps!

«Some» of the staff that works here aren’t very friendly and can be kind of rude. It is convenient to go here as there is a Von’s and a CVS right next to it.

Recycle, reduce, reuse… and close the loop! Bf and I have gone here a few times to recycle bottles and cans. This Replanet Recycling center is located around the edge of the parking lot where CVS is located. There are two automated recycling machines side by side. You place the beverage containers in the conveyor belt through the hole. There’s a little LCD screen on the right that tells you how many beverage containers you deposited and the total amount of money being made. When you’re done dispensing, you push the button to print out the receipt. It will tell you where to go to get your receipt cashed out. In this case, we had to cash it out at CVS which was nearby. And now we have our redemption value refund! You can pretty much recycle any beverage container that says CRV on the label. It’s all about momentum. At first I thought it wouldn’t accept any of the water bottles I got from Costco(damn Kirkland brand) but I learned that I had to put the end of the bottle right where the little entrance is.(Don’t be a basketball player and just shoot it through! That ain’t gonna work!) The conveyor belt does move at a fast pace. The only bottle I had that it didn’t accept was the new Pepsi bottle(the new design that just launched in March). The software wasn’t able to recognize the shape. The first time we deposited 188 containers earning 5 cents each and 11 containers earning 10 cents each, getting $ 10.05 as a total refund. The second time 73 containers at 5 cents each, and 6 containers at 10 cents each, getting $ 4.25. It’s not much, but it’s nice to get a little bit of cash for recycling beverage containers and plus it’s helping out the environment. It seems the more scorching hot it is outside then there is a less crowd. Machines closed Sundays and Mondays!!! With the process so quick, easy, and efficient we will be back here to recycle more beverage containers!
