Never heard of Tea Rush until this past weekend with a friend suggested this place due to the free wi-fi. Free wi-fi No public restrooms No debit/credit card for purchases under $ 10 Laksa Noodle Soup(Southeast Asian style noodle soup flavored in a light coconut milk topped with curry style chicken, crispy noodle, chopped onion and cilantro.) I ordered the Laksa noodle soup since it was something that I’ve never had before, or even heard of. It was very lightly flavored and the chicken bits very soft and tender to chew. The pieces of chicken were so small so might need the soup spoon to fish around to find some pieces. Overall, the flavors were a great for an afternoon snack. If you are hungry, this small bowl of noodles will not be enough. Snack-sized. Shrimp Har Gow Dim Sum(Dumplings are perfectly wrapped meats or vegetables snugly enclosed in a thin rice flour sheet.) & Pork Fried Rice Popcorn Fried Chicken(Small pieces of crunchy chicken coated with flavorful spices.) One of my friends ordered the popcorn fried chicken for us to all share. It was a bit too spicy for her but I thoroughly enjoyed the spiciness and the crispiness of the chicken. Pieces are a bit on the small side but at least they are tender on the inside. Ginger Chicken Salad(Organic mixed green salad served with our house special steamed chicken breast, red pickled ginger and Wasabi Vinaigrette dressing.) Another friend ordered the Ginger Chicken Salad along with the Cold Noodles. Heard no comments on the noodles so it must’ve been okay. The Ginger Chicken Salad was not my friend envisioned but it was not bad. The only thing that peeved me was the quality of the mixed greens. Some of the pieces had bug bites(holes) and others were rotten. I usually don’t order salads at restaurants because the salads may not be fresh so this was no exception. When I was eating the salad, I had to shift through my portion of the salads for bug bits, rotten salads, and etc. ¼ of my ½ portion was inedible. The steamed chicken breast was tender and soft to chew. No complaints there. The red pickled ginger reminded me of Yoshinoya red ginger. The Wasabi Vinaigrette dressing had a punch to the first bite. Since I did not know what was in the salad, I did not expect the kick on the first bite. Got used to the flavors afterwards with each bite. Overall, a flavorful salad but quality control needs to be a bit better. My other friend really enjoyed her Shrimp Har Gow and Pork Fried Rice. Very convenient location on the other end of the plaza from H Mart. Parking is aplenty. Food preparation is a bit slow but it’s because they only had 1 person at the front counter and another person in the kitchen. Expect service to be a bit slow. Beware also if you are here with a full bladder, no public restrooms! Good luck! If someone’s lived in Diamond Bar years ago, one would remember this location as the old Sanrio store that also sold TY Beanie Babies. Time sure does fly by!

We love Anita and we love the quality of the drinks that Tea Rush serves. Been coming here throughout high school 7 years ago and I love to bring my family here now! All the drinks are yummy, every time you go TRYONE!

Whenever I am craving boba and decide to bypass the traffic on the 57 I cruise down Diamond Bar Blvd just to visit Tea Rush. I love their birthstone teas, they use soy milk, their staff is always friendly, and my to-go orders are completed quickly. The only downside is that there is a $ 10 minimum for credit/debit cards.

I wanted to try this place after seeing the Unilocal reviews and boy I regret it popcorn chicken was just okay and I came for the drinks I got one the emerald drink I tried it and it was really terrible so I end up getting another drink I figure maybe that drink just sucked ! So … I buy another one and it was more worse I wouldn’t recommend the drinks here it’s really bad tea rush? More like rush out to leave and never come back.

I got a green tea with passion fruit. It is pretty good but not worth $ 4.5. The boba is chewy but not sweet like it should be.

I love this place… OHMYGOSH! Their food is so good. I get the Chicken ginger, rice and broccoli bowl. I love the pieces of ginger in the bowl. I also get the chicken ginger salad. I love their home made ginger dressing. I also love their Thai Ice Tea with boba. I get it every day! It is made there from real Tea leaves and brewed fresh every day. No powder Thai tea there. They have other selections too. You can call in your order a head of time, and then you can pick it up on your lunch break. I love that because I am a teacher and I don’t have a lot of time for lunch, but I like to get out. The owner is awesome. I have gotten to know her, «Anita» since I come here so much. She is very funny and lifts up your day. I also love the guy that works there named Danny. He is really nice and great and getting your drinks. My husband loves the Tourmaline drink. It is a mixture of Coffee, Black Tea, Honey and Soy Milk. He loves it.

Their passion fruit tea called Aquamarine is really good! I was impressed because the ingredients tasted fresh and the sweetness was on point. I haven’t tried the food but this is where I’ll go for a refreshing tea drink and most likely give the food a shot too!

Ambience 2⁄5: nothing special. Simple store and quiet. Drink 4⁄5: green milk tea was light, refreshing and had good tea flavor. It was not too sweet and had great balance. Deducted 1 star for bland boba. It was chewy but had no flavor. Service(5⁄5): the best service of all the boba places I have been to. She answered all my questions and and was super patient with me. She made the drink right in front of me and made sure that I liked it.

It’s located in a plaza in a good location. I’ve been here a few times trying out the Pearl Tea, Yerba Mate, and another one. This place has good spacing and atmosphere. It would be ideal to study since they have wi-fi. However, I feel like their tea is below average. They use a lot of powder to mask the natural flavor of tea and the leaves. For example, the last drink I got was the ube black tea, and I saw the barista take out PRE-MADE black tea and pour in huge amounts of purple powder(since ube is purple). For me, I’d rather wait a few minutes for a freshly brewed tea with minimal powder, milk, or additives. There’s too much flavor and appearance«enhancement» in the teas for me. There’s better tea places in the surrounding area that I prefer because of this. Overall, a clean and good study place to go to. Teas are about $ 5 +/-$ 2(boba, additives, size, etc.). And there’s a $ 10 minimum if you use credit/debit card — which sucks for those that want one drink. But the quality of the teas themselves are below average in my opinion. I’ll be second-guessing myself if I feel like going back here…

I used to come get drinks for my coworkers on my lunch break since I work in the area, but I havent returned in a while. I wish I hadnt, because the wait is ridiculous! The store extremely understaffed. If I knew it would take 25 minutes for three basic milk tea drinks, I wouldnt have come. The milk tea was alright, but DEFINITELY not worth 25 minutes of my time. The service was lackluster. I ordered double orders of boba and each order was $ 0.59, so I paid $ 1.18 for the added boba in each of my drinks. It came out with the amount of boba they give with one order of boba. For such expensive boba, they should give a decent amount, but I guess not. No smiles, quiet and terse responses to my questions, and very little emotion in taking my order. The guy working was really slow in making drinks and does not know how to multitask. Will not be coming back.

First off, I wasn’t really going to leave a review. Not because I didn’t like this place, but because I normally don’t do reviews a whole lot. However, in this case, I had to make an exception to right an injustice. I would give this place a solid 4 stars for pretty good drinks and pretty good snacky food. At this point you must be asking, «Then why did you rate this place a 5?!» Well, let me show you a review that was posted by someone that was there the same time I was there. This person gave a 1 star review so I felt that I needed to up my rating to offset this review: «The guy Danny was unbelievably rude! He put the pepper in the fried rice which my kids couldn’t eat it! Then when the manager asked him to remake the rice, he came to argue with me saying he could only make half portion of the rice! The food was disgusting n the service was so bad! Please don’t go to this place! It is wasting your time n money!!!» Just to clarify this, I will go on record to say that this is the first time I have ever been to this place. My wife and I dropped by because it was on the way to somewhere else. As I stated before, I am only writing this to right a wrong. So let’s get started… We walked into this place and ordered our drinks and some snacks. Danny(the one mentioned in the other review) took our order. I would describe him as a typical guy who had to work on a Sunday. Not necessarily happy and all smiles but definitely not rude. We sat down and waited. The lady who wrote the above review sat with her kids. She proceeded to talk loudly on her phone. I say this because her regular voice when speaking to her kids was about 10 times lower in volume. I get annoyed pretty easily so I wasn’t happy about someone yelling into their phone in an enclosed space. Soon after she received her food order. As Danny walked away she asked for hot sauce. Now, knowing the ending, you must be already a bit confused because the complaint about the food was that it was too spicy for her kids. Yet she just asked for hot sauce. A bit afterwards the lady complained to a girl that was working there about the rice being spicy. At this point I’m curious, so I turn around and lo and behold the whole place of rice is empty. The girls walks to the back and asks about the rice to Danny so Danny comes out and does the right thing. He looks at the empty plate and comments on the empty plate. At this point, other restaurants would not just give you more food. You ate all the food you claim was too spicy and«disgusting». Not only did you eat it all, you were asking for a fresh plate! Danny was gracious enough to offer a half portion, which I thought was more than generous. Our food order came out a few minutes after. We had gotten it to-go. When the lady saw the food come out she yells across the room to tell them she wanted her food for here because she wanted to eat the food in the restaurant. The girl politely told her that it was someone else’s food at which the lady yells back saying that she’s in a hurry and that she told Danny that she was in a hurry. Again… completely ridiculous. She was expecting the new order of rice to be made before any other customer’s food. At this point we left the place. TLDR Danny was very patient with a difficult customer. The lady was nuts. Kudos to Danny for not kicking her out of the establishment. Because I would have if I were in his place.

This is my regular spot through my high school and afterwards. Birthstone tea drinks are the staple here my favorite order and what I always get here is Amathyst. All the birthstone drink are sweet and awesome with boba. I recommend you to try them all. It is a great place to hang out with friends. The food is also good to have if you feel snack-ish.

I’ve been in 5 or 6 times and have always ordered iced Tourmaline. As much as I love this cold, hot is even better!

5 stars aren’t enough if I could I’d give about 100 stars Isn’t like the norm boba place that just pre makes the milk tea or something and puts it in the fridge, they make it in front of you using hot brewed tea each day creating a beautiful taste in your mouth with every sip 10⁄10

To be honest, the only reason I come to this plaza is because of that AYCE shabu shabu at yojies. Tonight after dinner, I was actually craving some kind of dessert or milk tea but didn’t want to go far. Luckily Tea Rush was in the same plaza! I noticed they had a simple menu and was themed by birthstones. Staying on the safe side I decided to get Garnet which consisted of GreenTea + strawberry + soy creamer. I’m so glad I did! It was delicious and it took me the drive home to remember what the taste of the tea reminded me of. If you’ve tried the Strawberry Green Milk tea from Cha for Tea near UCI or CSULB and loved it, this is basically the same goodness! Im so glad I decided to come here. I think I may be incorporating a dessert visit here every time I eat at Yojies!

My favorite to get here is either the Peridot or the Emerald. If you like regular milk tea you should definitely get the Peridot and if you enjoy minty milk teas you should get the Emerald. The prices here are a bit pricey, around $ 4-$ 5 a cup. Also if you are sensitive to milk this is a great place to check out because they use soy creamer here. I’ve also had the Taro Smoothie here and it tastes great too. :) Plus, the boba here is perfectly sweet and chewy. Will definitely be back if I’m in the area.

WOW! I used to only get Thai teas and their month teas and I’ve been missing out. The BBQ Pork fried rice is absolutely flavorful and delicious. The popcorn chicken is pretty good too but I wish they had some like sauce to dip them into. This is what I love about diamond bar. Small kitchens everywhere but never lacking in flavor or deliciousness.

Personally, Tea Rush is a solid 3.5-star boba café in the Diamond Bar /Pomona /Rowland Height area. Location: Drive into this giant plaza called the Diamond Hills Plaza and make a RIGHT turn(I was thinking«where the heck is this café … why can’t I find it?» until I realized that I made a wrong turn within the Plaza). Plenty of free parking spots. Atmosphere and menu: While many boba places only focus on tea drinks, Tea Rush actually felt like legit fusion café that serve both food(like an actual meal) and boba drinks. Food include salads, noodles, rice combos, and appetizers such as shrimp har gow(interesting …) and spring rolls. Drinks(called Birthstone Tea Fusion) are named after 12 different gemstones(e.g. Garnet, Sapphire, Emerald, Zicron, etc). 10 out of 12 Birthstone Tea Fusion drinks contain soy creamer and about 7 ~ 8 drinks contain some kind of fruit flavors. While I was waiting for my drinks, i was flipping through some Interesting books on the bookshelf — birthday and relationship, astrology, etc. *** Diamond(Masala Chai, Honey, and Soy Creamer — $ 3.69, price includes boba): Total(including tax) came up to be $ 4.02 … suggestion one, either round the price down or up to the nearest nickle or dime … I don’t always carry pennies with me. The staff said the drink will take 7 minutes and I got my drink within 5 minutes. The quality of drink wasn’t bad, but the combination of Chai and honey was a bit off — not the type of drink I prefer. The biggest issue was boba — not soft and chewy at all. Popcorn chicken($ 4.39): No basil leaves and each pieces were pretty small, but chicken pieces were surprisingly good(slightly chewy and right crunchiness). Other than small portion, I would actually recommend ordering this appetizer. *** Good popcorn chicken and probably some hit-and-miss on their drinks. It’s one of those oh-it’s-right-around-the-corner-so-let’s-go-check-it-out boba places. P. S. — Free Wi-Fi, but need to ask for password.

This is my go-to boba place ever since high school. Each tea is named after a birthstone and there are two sizes, regular or large. F A V O R I T E T E A S: RUBY: Hands down, the Ruby is my absolutely favorite. It has rose, vanilla, honey and soy creamer, mm~ If you love rose, you will love this!!! It does take awhile to make sometimes(7 min or less), but so worth it AQUAMARINE: If I don’t feel like getting something creamy, I will get this because it doesn’t have soy creamer. It’s basically a passion fruit tea and it can be a little bitter than sweet, which is not a problem for me because I don’t like sweet drinks anyway. AMETHYST: This is a blueberry tea with soy creamer and I remember this being my very first drink I tried here and still love it! Those are my personal favorites and I have tried others, like garnet(strawberry), emerald(mint), topaz(peach), etc. There are more, but it will really depend on what fruit or flavor you like. If you’re unsure, just get RUBY, AQUAMARINE, or AMETHYST! F O O D: POPCORNCHICKEN: The popcorn chicken isn’t anything super special. It’s similar to a lot of popcorn chicken at other boba places. BUT, still pretty good. DRYWONTONS: YAY the usual~ Basically, they are like steamed dumplings, mm~ get it with a side of rice!

Got the pork bowl… pork was rubbery, fatty, and looked reheated. Chicken shu mai was pink inside… maybe it is supposed to look that way? Almost no other customers during dinner… not a shock. Not coming back… the end. Maybe the tea is better? One would hope…
