From my understanding, I got charged an extra $ 4 because my recycle barrel was not able to close completely or the lid stuck up too high, but everything remained in the barrel. Its not the $ 4, its just my definition of corporate creed.

This review is for the El Dorado Disposal center, where you go to dump your excess recycling, yard waste, and other stuff. I’ve never been to a more organized and friendlier recycling center. It’s clean (as a place like that can be) and well put together. I’ve been there numerous times to dump yard waste, card board boxes, and junk like my old chicken coop. Prices are good and service is super nice.

El Dorado Disposal in Cameon Park is a textbook example of the quality of service under a monopoly.
About 25% of the time over the past year they fail to empty my green waste container, and when I call them about it the standard answer is to credit my account, not actually do anything to fix the problem. I don’t want credits to my account, I want my trash picked up, which seems to be beyond their limited abilities.
El Dorado Disposal doesn’t care because they don’t have to. There is no other competition offering better service.
