I stop at this place regularly when I’m driving to a vacation house in Pensacola. The food is usually hot and fresh, and I really like the onion rings. What I really love about this place is the fact that kids that work there are very polite and always give you a big smile. The young girl who was working the drive thru on May 29th at 6:20 pm was a real joy. She gave us a beautiful smile and was as polite as she could be. This is something you NEVER experience in New Orleans where I live. You’re lucky if the people working in the fast food places here grunt at you, and they never say«Thank You.» I will continue to go to this Dairy Queen not only for the fresh food but more for the fact that the kids that work there are trained properly and don’t act like they hate their jobs and would rather be anywhere else. Bravo to the owner and manager at this location for getting a staff that takes pride in their work.

The drive thru girl couldn’t stop smiling. So nice to see someone actually appreciate their job. Someone’s doing a great job training. And coming from New Orleans, it was a nice change. Food was good and HOT! The tomatoes actually looked and tasted like tomatoes! The inside was packed, so they are doing something right. Good to see in a fast food chain.

It’s staffed by kids. The cooks do great but the place is dirty and poor customer service. Also the ice cream is inconsistent

June 29, 2015. Stopped at 9 pm on road trip. The place was dirty, litter all over the floor. My daughter got an oreo blizzard, which we waited 10 min for. We then drove to new orleans, an hour away, where she promptly vomited twice. Food poisoning, anyone? She loved the oreo blizzards, but that is probably the end of that! BEWARE!

Food is fresh and hot. I like their soft serve ice cream. especially the Blizzards. I use the drive-thru and have never been inside so I cannot comment on cleanliness or comfort. Drive-thru has been smooth without foul-ups Conveniently located right off the interstate. The pavement to the parking lot could use some work.

NOT an enjoyable experience. The ice cream was good. The experience was exasperating. The young man taking my order was incredibly confused. I said I wanted a chocolate dipped waffle cone. He questioned, «Do you want a specialty cone?» I told him I didn’t know what he meant and pointed to the picture and said it was $ 2.99. Every step of the 5 item order was painful… The last two items were small vanilla icecreams. He told me he could give mini blizzards or plain sundaes. I told him I just needed something little for toddlers. We were given giant sundae cups for my 2&1-year old recipients. I asked for an empty cup to scrape half of their icecream into. I was charged $.50 extra for each of those«small cups.» I was also charged for a Blizzard dipped waffle cone–«special» plain, which was also an up charge from the plain vanilla icecream we ordered and received. I just paid it to make the kids happy and get out of there.

My wife and I stop here pretty much every time we drive through Diamondhead. The staff is friendly, the facilities are clean, and the food is consistently good. You really can’t ask for more than that from Dairy Queen. I love it and will continue to return

Far from ghetto, bitter Unilocaler. The place is clean, constantly busy, and employees helpful. Came here for Father’s Day lunch and place was packed. Love this place. BACONCHEESEBURGER! OMNOMNOM Also, the food was piping hot, so there.

This is a ghetto DQ where the food is always cold. I also swear that one time a few years back I came here and the place was run by a bunch of underage girls. I don’t know MS child labor laws, but everyone behind the counter looked 13, and they messed up my order big time.

Dairy Queen is Dairy Queen. But I enjoyed stopping here. We had our dog with us, so we needed a place to walk the puppy, and stretch the legs. This location has some nice outdoor picnic tables under some huge oak trees with plenty of grass for the dog.

These rural Dairy Queens are ruining me. They give you proper portions of ice cream AND hot fudge. Oh god… so good. The Dairy Queen in Miami is horrible. On a note completely unrelated to the food, I heard something at this Dairy Queen that I have never heard before. I heard two people have an entire conversation without using a single verb. Even with the omission of verbs, these two people still understood one another. How is this possible? I am amazed at the complete omission of a part of English grammar. In fairness to Diamondhead, these ladies were only passing through.

I left Shreveport late in the morning and took I-49 South, headed for Biloxi. Immediately a Dairy Queen craving hit me. No big deal, I’ll just hit up the next interstate location I see. Alexandria: Nothing Lafeyette: Nothing Baton Rouge: Nothing Diamondhead: Bingo. So, 7-hours later, I’m finally in business, eating my standard Oreo Blizzard. I even sprung for the medium this time, it’s only $.20 more. Crap, this is really delicious. Thanks for being there. I love you.
