I have been here a time or two, I was never very impressed. I have found a woman named Tu, and she is exceptional! Professional, speaks English, she is fast. I brought her a picture of some Ombré colored nails and she knew exactly what I was talking about. I like my nails square, and viola, they are square! So Happy!

I used to come here often when they first opened up. I stopped coming because the customer service started declining. I had about an hour between appointments this day so I decided to give it another shot. Nail tech I had this time was the worst ever, she literally rolled her eyes at some of the other techs after I was already in the water. I had the feeling she was talking about me to other Techs as well. She didn’t engage with me at all, with the exception to ask if I wanted something to drink. her name was«Vicky» she scoffed several times, when she tried to upsell my pedicure I told her I had to be somewhere at 3:30, and didn’t have time for the extra service that I normally get. She rolled her eyes and looked at the clock and said its only 2:20, and then talked in a language of course I don’t understand to any of the nail techs who would look at her. One of them actually looked embarrassed and smiled and put her head down. I didn’t get out of there until 3:10 and made it to my other appointment 5 minutes late. I have good experiences in there in the beginning but now, no way. SOMEONE needs to let inconsiderate people know that it is obvious in gestures and glares that you are being rude to your customers. I am done with this place I will stick to my regular place I go next time.

There needs to be a manual for new customers. This place does not treat you well if you’re new. Walked in, not greeted, and then when I wrote my name down I had to wait while the desk woman finish her text message to address me. Then she was unspecific about where I was to sit, made it an awkward experience for me. So I sat there and waited, a very nice woman came up and greeted my to do my pedicure. She was great! Very nice and did my toes with care. I got the basic one and it was very nice.(Now I called it basic, but they don’t have a price chart and they don’t tell you what’s included with the pedicure.) They offer many drinks, alcoholic and not, and the pedicure room is very nice. Then once I was done, I went to the front to get my acrylics put on. This is a new set, on bare nails. White tips. Nothing fancy, no bells and whistles. The woman made no attempt to talk to me, and then suggested a try a new powder. I said yes, and she brought it and then later mentioned it would be $ 50. Now I’ve lived in this area for 8 years, and never have I been told I would be paying $ 50 for PLAINWHITETIPS. I wanted to tell her to take me to dinner first. anyway, I argued with her on price for quite a while. I told her I’d rather leave and wait until Monday for my usual nail salon to open. Finally, I told her I’d just get the nails the solid clear pink so that it would only be $ 30. After this, she was rude, talked about me to her coworkers(one came up to her and whispered into her ear and then she whispered back) and I was ready to bolt out of there. I paid $ 56 for a pedi($ 25) & full set of nails($ 30.) they charge a dollar for the nail file and buffer(sanitary purposes) unless you bring your own. No tip, I was angry and left with no thank you. Will not be back. Make the extra 5 min drive to Santa Fe and go to Vi Nails Spa near Arlan’s.(The old big chief) they care about new customers and they charge $ 35 for all basic nails. They’re the best and I should have waited until Monday.(They’re closed Sunday)

I have been going here for years; for what reason I’m not so sure anymore. The guy at the front is ALWAYS extremely rude and is very unwelcoming. Today I waited over 45 minutes for a pedicure and finally left after watching multiple customers who arrived after me being called back. I will not be returning.

I used to like this nail salon because the nail tech always did a very nice job on my solar nails! I liked having my own file & buffer but after going back several times, I started to realize how unsanitary my nail tech was with her drill tools and work space. The drill parts she used on me ALWAYS looked very dusty and sanding sleeves were NEVER changed between clients. She would pull them out from a dusty box under her work table. This is not sanitary and should not be considered normal! Sanding sleeves are cheap cheap, they should always change these in between clients and disinfect the other parts! She would also repeatedly shake my fingers firmly telling me to relax. I think that is rude and actually made me feel less relaxed! I will not be back here anymore.

My worse half(wife) went there and because she didn’t get the upgrade was treated rudely by staff, from the dude in the front to the chick in the back. Threw her favorite pair of Kiks on the floor. Quote from wife–«Awe hell naw». Wont be going back and will find another place for nails and mustache waxing and may you be blessed with the ten year ninja curse.

As a Male and a first time getting a pedicure with me lady it was very nice and very attentive. I/we would definitely go back again. The price is very reasonable. The massage chair is a pluse on the old body.

I had a great experience at Bay Colony! Let me start with the moment I walked in the door: I was immediately greeted by a very pleasant young man who asked what kind of services I was interested in & had me seared in a pedicure chair in less than five minutes, despite the fact that I was a walk in. The atmosphere is pleasant and soothing. There is very little smell of polishes and solvents, the salon is clean and attractive, and you are offered a complimentary drink before you even sit down. While there were several flat screen TVs on, they had the sound off and closed captioning on, that k goodness. Light, instrumental music played. Everything is labeled and clean, the nail technicians wear name tags, speak great English(which is important if you are trying to discuss wants & needs), and are very friendly and good natured. Natalie gave me my pedicure, and after telling me the pedicure options available and the corresponding prices, she didn’t try to upsell me once! She let me know there was a ten dollar charge for French tips & a design, which I appreciated beibg informed of. Since it was my first visit & I didn’t have my own buffer and file with me(for sanitary purposes), I was supplied one by the salon. The only reason this review isn’t scored five stars is because I wasn’t informed that there is a charge of $ 1 for the file and buffer. It isn’t a big deal, but it would have been nice to be told before I went to check out. Natalie gave an exemplary pedicure, professional, clean, thorough and she didn’t make me hurt or bleed once. She gave me an AMAZING foot and leg massage. I opted for French tips on my toes and she consulted with me on the thickness of the tips until we had it where I liked it. Then I showed her the design on my phone I wanted to replicate and she did a fantastic job! I will definitely be back to Bay Colony Nails the next time I am in the area, and I will definitely be asking for Natalie! Great, great job Bay Colony Nails, keep up the wonderful work!!!

Between the other nail salons near by — LA «rude junk» and Walmart nail salon«48 hr special nails never lasted«Bay Colony Nail Salon was the best! Always clean, regardless of who did my nails they were always very polite and the quality was outstanding. My nails lasted longer then I have ever had them. They take their time, they are not rough with you and talk to you rather then ignore you like other shops. Give them a chance! They are awesome!!!

I’ve only been here once so far, but I really enjoyed my experience. I just moved to the area, and wanted to get a pedicure late one evening(a little after 7). This was the only place still open, and they didn’t seem at all bothered by the fact that I was there just before closing time. My nail tech was extremely friendly and didn’t rush through my pedicure at all. She did a great job with the entire pedicure. Plus, the salon was very clean and tidy, and had more pedicure chairs than most places. I will definitely be back!

Fantastic quality pedicure and manicure spot. They are clean and efficient. I’ve been seeing Hang for a long time and she is great. They have a wonderful selection of colors and their massage chairs are the best. Plus, free drinks including wine and mimosas! This is my go-to nail salon.

Awful! I had an appointment with friends. I was running late, but met my friends who had already gotten their nails worked on. Because I had never been here before, I had no idea that you had to buy your own nail files. She had pointed to my friend’s baggie of nail files and was like is that ok and I was confused. After asking twice and still not sure what the lady was saying, I just went along with whatever she was asking. Turns out, she was going to use my friends files on my nails. I stopped her and she yelled at me! I apologized saying I misunderstood her, and she yelled at me again! She was extremely rude. Did not offer me a drink, charged for every little thing, rushed through the service and then got pissed when I accidently messed up my nail. When paying $ 37 for two horribly rushed manicures(took mine only about 15 minutes for her to do) and having to buy my own materials, I expect better service. Considering there are about a million nail salons in my area with much friendlier and professional staff, they should get their act together. I felt insulted by this place and will definitely NOT be going back.

This places is in the same shopping center as H.E.B. and I occasionally stop in. You can tell their staff is more formal and professional, but still very friendly. They accept credit cards, but you can’t tip on them which is inconvenient at times. They do provide complimentary beverages(soda, water, and wine) that is always a plus! I think they are priced a couple of dollars more than their competitors, but usually you don’t have to wait at all to get service even on weekends.

This is the cleanest nail salon I have been to(so clean that I was there just before closing and I saw one of the ladies cleaning the walls … no joke.) I love that they use pink and white powder for my french manicure … not white tips, not white polish … Tiffany is the best nail tech there! I use Trini for my pedicure and she is always so attentive and really takes pride in what she does. I definitely love that they offer wine or mimosas(and of course, soda and water), cause it really just makes it an experience! So next time you are in the area … check it out!
