Polarbear’s Taxi Service

Doesn’t mention a minimum charge of $ 10.

Okay, so I deleted the 5 Star review I gave this guy, and I am writing a new one! This service is pretty sad! The owner is a former cab driver, and started his own business.
I work at a hotel and a guest scheduled a pickup, this morning, last night. Kriss (the owner) said that one of his two vehicles will be here in the morning, at 7:45am, to take the guest where he had to go.
7:30am rolled around, and the guest was already in the lobby waiting. he said the polar bear was supposed to come at 7:45am to take him to the local shipping port. Well 7:45am rolled around and nobody was here to pick him up, so I called and the phone said «the wireless customer you are trying to call is currently unavailable» … now that’s BS. So, 8am came and went too. So I had to take the initiative and take the guest, since he was running late, and since this taxi service was making the hotel look bad.
Needless to say, the guest tipped me well, though i didnt expect anything, since i was taking him, for the hotel, and I still had to apologize to a taxi service that didn’t even show. The said he never expected me to take him, but was partically disappointed since the taxi was scheduled the night before. He did mention not to recommend Polar Bear Taxi, since they may mess up «someone’s» job, cause them to miss their flight, etc., in the long run, that «someone» being the person who they FAILED to pick up.
