It’s been a while since I’ve visited this part of town, but when I do, I know sesame house is always on my list of places to eat! Right now is one of the best times to come because of the Festival of Lights across the street. A PERFECT blend of holiday spirit and wonderful food. Recommend the Vietnamese egg rolls, butter garlic chicken, and Thai tea. Looking forward to being a customer for a long time!

I have eaten at a lot of Chinese /Vietnamese restaurants and this particular one is not high on the list. For an appetizer, we ordered the steamed vegetable dumplings. There were very few vegetables to be found and the thickness of the dumplings was extremely doughy. Very little taste. As far as the entrée is concerned, there was very little taste as well. Disappointed. We’ll not return.

I’m so super pumped that this place is thirty seconds away from my work! They have a pretty extensive menu of Chinese/Viet cuisine and the Vietnamese food I ordered was really excellent!!! I ordered the half viet eggrolls and lemongrass tofu sub rice instead of vermicelli, extra tofu, extra fish sauce and a fried egg. Eggrolls were ridiculous, delicately fried tiny rice paper wrappers with traditional filling, and my BOWL of extra fish sauce. Yassss. MUSTTRY. The tofu was Awwwwesome! Crispy sauteed scallions and onions, a perfectly sunny egg to pop over aromatic jasmine rice, with tons of savory, crispysquishy tofu all glistening with lemongrass. All for 11 some odd dollars? Boom. Inspired by the ladies that lunch tittering next to us about their order they called in prior to enjoy a leisurely meal, and the perfect service I recieved, there’s a chance I may return again tomorrow. And possibly Friday.. .

Their food tastes delish and freshly made. I ordered take out. The order was done well. Eggrolls were crunchy not oily and tasted delicious too. The orange chicken had good chicken pieces unlike other places where the pieces are nothing but batter. Chicken veggie was good too.

I have enjoyed Dining at Sesame House for years and have never had anything but a wonderful experience. I’m amazed at how many people don’t know about this family owned and operated gem. The food is always fresh, plentiful, and priced fairly. I’m no detective, but when my Vietnamese friends insist on dining here I that as a clue!

Wanted to try some Chinese food. Tried the general Tso chicken. It’s was awful. The pieces were small, didn’t think they had any chicken in them, and the sauce tasted bland.

Good food. Not great. Very small portion. Had phở but it’s very small compared to other restaurant. Soup is very greasy. Great service though.

We like to come here to get free parking for the Festival of Lights but this year we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service. Food was delicious! I had vermicelli with grilled pork and the pork was very tasty and very thinly sliced that even my 5 yr old loved it. My husband ordered Sesame Chicken — that was delicious too and it came with lots of yummy steamed broccoli. Perfect!

The staff is awesome and the price is right. Vietnamese food is pretty good, and the Chinese is slightly above average. The service and price make this one of the best restaurants around.

I ordered the bbq pork vermicelli with egg roll and shrimp spring rolls to go. When I called in the order, they said would be ready in 10 minutes… I thought that seemed kinda fast for a 5pm order, when I got there about 10 minutes later it was done. Friendly staff. When I got home, retrieved items from bag, the spring rolls were packaged the same way grocery stores package ground beef or steak. The rolls were difficult to separate, the ingredients did not seem fresh at all. Seemed like they had been made the day before and placed in the refrigerator. The vermicelli was ok, but the pork was way over cooked, it was like eating jerky, difficult to chew, impossible to stab with a fork. The egg rolls were flavorless. The only thing that seemed fresh on the plate were the bean sprouts and there were way too many of those and hardly any of the other fresh ingredients I expected with this plate, such as carrots and cucumber. I expect I was served food that was not cooked fresh and that’s a big disappointment, especially for the price. If you are looking for fresh vietnamese food, look elsewhere… unless they change what they are doing in their kitchen, I don’t think I’ll be visiting them any time soon.

The food is just fair and they don’t give you enough. The wonton soup was somewhat bland. I lived in Asia and know what Mongolian beef is, and this was not Mongolian beef I was served at this place. Szechuan Garden is far better. I won’t be going back to this place.

This place never fails to satisfy my hunger! It has been years since I’ve come here and everything still tastes delicious! The service is fast and efficient and very friendly. Prices are extremely cheap for the portion sizes! I recommend this place to everyone!

Great little restaurant with good Vietnamese food and awesome service. Being our first visit, I tried the vermicelli and grilled chicken and it was very satisfying. Crisp lettuce, lightly seasoned grilled chicken. Great value. Selina had the Sesame Chicken and thought it was very good. The chicken was lightly breaded, sweet, with the perfect hint of spice. She also loved the wonton soup. Both highly recommended. All in all, we very much enjoyed out visit and will definitely be back. 4 stars.

Love this place! Long time customer. My fave is the lemongrass grilled chicken-get it every time. Fast, attentive service. I am sad when the family closes up for a few weeks to go on vacation!

This place is great and luckily down the street from us. The dumplings are good but the dough a little thick. The spring rolls are good as well and the prices are decent. Service is great and the servers are friendly, our drinks were never empty. This place has become our go to for good food.

We ordered a lemon grass chicken dish that I cannot pronounce, the sampler platter, wanton soup, hot and sour soup, and saki. Everything was hot, delish, and devoured. Four stars because the saki does not pour well into the little ramakin provided, causing your scrumptious saki to spill onto the table. Set it aside, and just drink from the ceramic vessel.
