King Delicious

Pretty dang good for a typical «mass production type» Chinese take out place. The sauces didn’t really taste like the usual variety served in this type of establishment… ie: canned. Very good change up from the usual norm! Definitely coming back!

The reviews calling King Delicious the best Chinese food in Dickson make me snortle. Apart from a few buffets (no way!) and a new Panda Express, there is no Chinese food in Dickson. This is the only takeout joint around. Unfortunately.
We tried King Delicious when we first moved to the county. I had the General Tso’s chicken, and it was not good. I ate a bit then ended up throwing my leftovers away. We decided to give them another chance recently. Traditional Americanized Chinese food didn’t cut it for me, so I opted for the Pad Thai with chicken. How wrong can you go with chicken and noodles?! Very, very wrong! After a 20 minute wait for the food to be prepared, we got home and got disappointed. The food was inedible. The chicken was over-​boiled into a slimy, squishy mess. The noodles were over-​boiled into a slimy, squishy mess. There was no flavor at all. They used the outermost skin of an onion, and you couldn’t even bite through it. I ended up throwing my meal away after only a few bites. Disgusting. $ 9 into the trash. I wish there was a decent Chinese takeout place in Dickson county!

Bland, over priced, and small portions. Meats were like leather. Both dishes were hugely lacking in flavor. Fried dumplings were pretty much burnt. AC was not running, and our table was terribly sticky. After reading the great reviews from the locals, we were very disappointed with this restaurant.

Hands down the absolute best Chinese food I’ve had in Dickson. I went in 20 minutes before close and they didn’t even hesitate to fix my order even though it was late. The food was not only fresh, but amazing in flavor and appearance. I couldn’t have been more pleased.

We went this a week ago seeing some good reviews on the different site and they were right!
I ordered vegetable Mei fun. The best I have. The seasoning was just right, not greasy, not salty, and huge portion. I wish I can cook like him.
We recommend this place. You get your money worth!
