If I could give negative stars, I would. From a bowling perspective, it sucks. From an entertainment perspective, it sucks. Was there a couple of weeks ago on a Saturday night about 8pm… prime time, right? There were only 2 other groups bowling and, after we finished, I know why. First, the lanes were as dry as a desert. They were not oiled at all. That meant they grabbed any spin on the ball — ANY spin — and took it to the gutter. I normally throw in the mid 100s and my buddy throws around 200 — my high game was 75 and his was 115. It took me 3 frames to hit my first pin. We had to completely alter our throwing motion and, even then, the slightest spin would take it off the lane. Second, it was«cosmic bowling» night, which of course means black lights, lots of colors, and music. But there were no colors and the music sounded like it had a mattress over the speakers. Not that I minded too much — I don’t go bowling to listen to «Sweet Child O Mine» for the millionth time, I go to laugh with my friends. It was so bad that the people near us put on some tunes on their phone and it sounded 1,000 times better. Third, the scoring monitor overhead worked fine(with it’s copyright 1995 graphics — no joke) but the one by the table was broke and the fan at the ball return was broke. Fourth, they offered only 1 choice of beer. Fifth, the woman working there — the ONLY person working there, I think — seemed to not care if we were there or not. Not that she was rude or anything, but didn’t exactly make us feel welcome. At one point, she had to clear a stranded pin in our lane and she walked right down the middle of our lane to get it. You just don’t do that! But, if there’s no oil, then I guess it doesn’t matter. Horrible place.
