«Where’s Yo Mamma When You Need to Slap Her?» That’s a rib joke from the movie«Next Friday.» Man, I love these guys. It’s a small business, so it’s always good to support that movement. I usually stop by the grill when they are in front of the liquor stores on weekends. I’m not exactly sure if the physical store is still around, but you can bank on them being in front of the«white liquor store» on Marlboro Pike. These guys specialize in slow smoked bbq. I’ve had the ribs and they are seasoned well and cooked to perfection. The smoke does not overwhelm the meat flavor and the sauce is just right. They give you additional sauce liberally if you want it, spicy or mild. These ribs come off the bone easily. Some parts are a little fatty, but that’s the rib. You can tell that this place values patience and slowness because they are patient when handling the food and cutting each slab of ribs with precision. I tried the mac and cheese and THISWASTHEBESTMACANDCHEESE I HAVEEVERHAD. It’s a 3 cheese mac and cheese and the texture is so thick that it’s almost meaty. The blend of the cheeses is perfect. I don’t get excited for soul food because I’ve been eating it my entire life, but this mac and cheese has me craving more. It’s been a while since any food has made me «crave.» In conclusion, treat yourself to some nice, slow cooked BBQ and you’ll be thankful. I look forward to trying the other options, chicken, brisket, etc. Go out in front of the white liquor store and go to work. Disclaimer: No mothers were harmed in the writing of this review.

Smoke Stacks House of BBQ is nothing short of amazing. They serve the most succulent ribs that I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating. Do yourself a favor, try everything on the menu. I promise you, that you will come back again and again.

So where do I begin they’ve been in business for years and do it outside of a liquor store with a tent as their home. So i ordered a brisket sandwich with mac and a ½ slab with mac and string beans. I asked to sample the brisket and was told i had ordered it so i could sample then. When i am paying and you post about having free samples you give the customer a sample. This spot is not a place for good customer service. So the brisket wasnt even enough for a sandwich then the bread was a heal please stop being cheap and throw the last of it away. The ribs were not seasoned good at all hands down not as good as johnny boys on southern ave. These ribs need the sauce to be good and alot of fat. Save the trip go to johnny boys where your service is appreciated. The mac and cheese had no cheese or cream just smoke flavored noodles.

I has been trying to try this place for a while now. My urge for ribs always seem to get after 8pm(their closing time) So on a nice Saturday afternoon I stopped by. Riding down Marlboro Pike I saw the smoke from the grill and knew I was getting close. Plenty of parking was available. I was greeted by a friendly woman(I’m assuming Mrs. Owner) who asked what I wanted. They do have a menu that you can ask for if you don’t see it. I decided on the ¼ slab ribs and sides. Mac and cheese and green beans were available. I was told there was a 30 min wait til the ribs would be ready… No problem I could wait. They do take credit cards via Square– Which I am familiar with and love using. The first thing I loved is that it seems like you are getting a plate from you dad or uncles. Even the kids were helping out. A real family business! The owner personally thanked each person. A real thank you! Just this alone would have me coming back. I like to feel welcome and that my business is appreciated. On to the food. While waiting I saw delicious looking chicken that I must come back and try. Everything smelled so good. My ribs were perfect. My sauce was not placed in my bad but I didn’t need it. Not sure what he seasons with but it was delicious. The Mac and cheese was soooo good. Usually that is a hit or miss. Tastes like home! The green beans were seasoned with onion red and yellow pepper. Again went well above my expectations. Prices were reasonable and In line with other rib/BBQ places It was nice to see your food cooking AND meet the chef. See you guys again soon! Can’t wait to taste the BBQ sauces.

I love this place and the owner! I came for Mother’s Day. I was a little apprehensive because it’s outdoors… But I must say, there’s something about being able to see your food and actually talk to the person that is cooking it. The passion shines through! I don’t eat pork but my mother does. His crew was very thoughtful to make sure everything was separated when cutting the meat… Two different cutting boards! Then if no one is there for a few minutes, it gets automatically washed and set back up extra clean! I can’t say that about any Peruvian place I went to at all! The sauce was interesting. I don’t care for too much vinegar, but I see why they call it sauce. It’s smokey and done right. Not too heavy to weigh down the flavor… But really ENHANCEIT. Most BBQ sauces I know don’t do this. I really felt the passion and like I was eating from someone who understood that homemade BBQ sauce is best not over powering the flavor. Don’t get me wrong, sometimes it’s good to have a heavy string BBQ sauce… But food should speak for itself and not be covered… But rather accompanied… Ok, I’m getting too into this. The mac n cheese is good and def hits the spot. They were out of some sides so come earlier than before closing. I reserved mine ahead of time. Now the brisket… WOW! … Just wow! It fell apart so well. He has some left for a sample … And WOW! What a flavor… Succulent, smokey, sizzilingly HAPPY!(Is that a word?) Well, it’s one now! The owner and his crew were so nice they made sure my order was right from the start. I can’t say enough about the backyard love I felt in this food… FOOD network, where are ya? Ya gotta come here… But come early!

Great BBQ. I favor my own BBQ and sauce but tasted their ribs and I haven’t grilled my own ribs or sauce in two years. So tender and the sauce is very tasty. I’m trying to figure out what’s in it.

Found this place after a search on Unilocal for BBQ in my area. After a short drive I found the place and on first glance I wasnt sure what to expect. It was pretty quiet and there wasnt alot of activity in the kitchen. After a few minutes someone came and took my order and then the magic began. I ordered the half slab of ribs and watched them get the ribs of the smoker and prep them like I was a judge on BBQ pitmasters. A half slab is enough meat for two full meals so much so that i didnt even order a side. I also knew that I would like the ribs because I didnt even ask for sauce on them and it didnt need them, a nice brown sugar flavor and very tender. I wish more peeps knew about this place but for now i am ok with being a big fan on my own. Another plus, they use Square for credit cards :)
