The absolute best in customer service! Jim Fisk is always very friendly and professional. He has made many repairs to my kids bikes over the years and his work is always very good, fast and reasonably priced.

After a long period of health challenges, I recently started riding a bicycle for exercise. My bike needed several repairs to make it safe and roadworthy, and Jim the owner completed them quickly and expertly and at a very reasonable cost. He gave me great riding tips, and even found a seat that reduced the pain in my posterior.
Using his exceptional knowledge, Jim solved a number of problems for me, including a problem with my chain that was causing it to slip when riding. He saved me a lot of money and had me back on the road in no time!!!
I drive from Vacaville regularly to Jim’s shop in Dixon. It’s absolutely worth it!!!
Fisk’s Cyclery is an amazing bike shop! Because of Jim’s getting my bike roadworthy, I feel so much better and I’ve lost 17 pounds!

I brought my newer cruiser bicycle in for a problem with the rear axle sprocket. I had recently had to drop the bicycle in Tahoe when my wife’s bike brake failed going down a hill. When I dropped the bike the right crank got bent. I got it fixed up there and kept on riding.
Upon return to town, I was riding around and the chain started skipping. I made it home and parked the bike. Last evening I brought the bike to Fisk and met Jim. He told me exactly what was wrong and told me I could pick it up the next day.
I went to Fisk midday today and the bike was repaired. He showed me the old broken part and showed me that he had installed a new rear Shimano rear sprocket. The cost was very reasonable too.
I definitely recommend Fisk’s Cyclery.

I felt the need to post a review after some nonsense at a big box bicycle store.
So I’ve purchased my fair share of tubes. Flats happen.
A while back, I purchased a tube here. These guys installed it free of charge.
Enter the big box store, where I purchased another tube. Thinking that installation may have actually been a common courtesy, I asked about that. They (unnamed big box store) quoted me $ 10 extra for installation. Seriously.
This local store gets my business from now on.

I’m new to Fisk’s Cyclery and have had two very positive experiences. This locally-​owned shop is convenient and quick. Jim Fisk is genuinely one of the nicest people, very helpful and non-​aggressive.
