If you are a do-​it-​yourself kind of couple, the shabby chic type or just like the countryside, this is pretty much the ultimate wedding party venue.
Lemme tell you why.
First and foremost: the price. Think of what a venue that allows a 2-​night stay for 10 people and hosts up to 150 would cost. Then divide that number in half. And then do it again. And possibly again.
I am talking LESS THAN $ 1000. Total.
Now factor in what you will save by having the freedom to bring in all of your own food and booze.
It’s cray cray.
The house itself is gorgeous. Turn of the century, antique fixtures, new appliances.
The grounds are very pretty and well kept.
The owner, Jerry is very possibly the nicest and most accommodating guy on the planet. If you book here, please be kind to him. He’s the best.
It is a bit far if you’re coming from the city (about 1.45 mins) but it’s a nice little getaway and totally worth the mild inconvenience.
Trust me, guys. This is the place.
