we were working close to this place so we came and gave it a try based on the reviews. we got here around 12:00 and left at 2:00 pm, we felt like weren’t even there with the waiters walking all over the place and never even bothered to stop at our table and ask if we needed anything. you cant miss a group a 7 people, the food wasn’t anything special.

Love this place! Great, consistent food. Love the quesadillas, the fries, and any of the wraps. Really large plates which makes up for the fairly high prices, though I think it’s worth it. The staff is friendly and easy to work with and accommodating. If you’re looking for good food and a wide variety, you will be satisfied!!!

Great diner. You can find something for everyone. I usually have the Avocado-shrimp Salad(might be called the Dobbs salad) or chicken salad platter for lunch or dinner. For breakfast I enjoy the egg dishes and hash browns. My kids like the waffles, pancakes and turkey burgers. Also, really friendly staff.

Had a quiet night in the corner booth and I loved it. Maria was very sweet and kept my tea warm. The soup was perfect on a cold night and I appreciated having a warm place to work while my daughter was at practice. Next time I want to try the banana split I saw her building, looked great! It might need to get a little warmer first.

Excellent service, great food, and fair prices on a menu with plenty of options for any taste. We went for breakfast, got different omelets, and both breakfasts were delicious. This is probably going to be our new go-to for a quick bite to eat!

Nothing to go on about. Not the food, not the service, not the décor and not the parking situation unless you’re looking for points to complain about. I bet I won’t be going back this area affords a bevy of shoddy diners to choose from. I ordered a classic. A turkey club. It should be an easy ace… What do I get… wet disgusting, pre-packaged turkey slivers that taste like they were grown in a science lab. That won’t cut it outside a middle school cafeteria. Pathetic.

The food is good typical diner food but i find the wait a bit too long on weekend mornings. I do like the fact that the will give me a take out cup for my coffee as i head off to watch the kids sports activities… Other than the longer wait time, we enjoy this diner very much.

Went here tonight was the worst diner/restaurant experience. We ordered food it came late and was lukewarm. The tomato juice bottle was on the counter and served at room temperature. Tables of high school girls singing loudly, yelling, and banging the booth seats. Banging of seat was so hard was afraid to take a drink or fork of food so not to injure my mouth. Another customer waiting half hour for take out got verbally upset when person next to him, who came in after him & got his take out food in ten minutes and he’s still waiting. When the irate customer’s food came out it was lukewarm. He ask for manager & manager argued with customer when the customer was right! Irate customer than knocked his glass over and water and ice went all over the place. OMG diner rage. Could not wait to get out of here. If I could I would rate the food, customer service, wait service, and ambiance, I would give this place a 0 rating or lower. Also as a former waitress for years, I have never seen this kind of service or noise. Noise was worst than being in a sports bar during a game, which is expected & fun, this was a diner and was in no way a pleasant experience. Won’t be coming back here again, they lost us as customers. This was the 6th time we ate out this week. So many more good diners around that we can go to & be treated better than here.

This is not the best restaurant ever, but it is a classic diner. On weekend mornings you might end up waiting if you want a table and not a counter, but the staff are so friendly you never mind. Very good pancakes and eggs and French toast. Amazing fresh orange juice, and the owners are so sweet. Solid diner food!

Amazing, love this diner! We drive 30 min sometimes to eat here. Incredibly friendly, feels like a family in there. The waiters are the same people so they get to know you after a while. Great service and food is delish. Super homey and our fave diner ever!

Great standard diner. Good for families. Gets busy on the weekends. The smoothies looked really good. Great greasy breakfasts, but lots of other more healthy options too. I am looking forward to going back for lunch! The egg salad sandwich looks good.

The food is standard lower end diner fare with«breakfast syrup» and Franks Red Hot as the most exotic condiment options. The service isn’t attentive or consistent, or server switched halfway through. The menu I had listed coffee or tea as included with the breakfast but they charged $ 2/each anyway. When I asked about it and pointed it out on the menu I was told«I’m sure it says somewhere that it’s not included on weekends.» If a customer has never before dined at your restaurant on a weekend and was given the«wrong» menu it’s probably better customer service to write off the cost of the coffee so that they’d be tempted to return rather than telling them that they should have known it wasn’t included on weekends.

Pros: Lots to choose from on the menu. Very clean restaurant with friendly servers. Located in an adorable village. Ample parking. Cons: inconsistent service. Very expensive.

I had brunch here with a friend. Ordered the Challah French toast w/turkey sausage. The French toast slices were huge and moist, and the sausage was meaty and filling. Pretty good way to end a day of lugging stuff around. Service is quick, to the point, painless. They take cards and all that good stuff.

This is a three star diner. We got what we ordered and it was good. No one was impressed, no one disappointed. Everyone full. So really a solid okay. Nothing fancy. Good service.

Food wise, it’s a diner. That’s it. Not bad, not great, just a diner. Go in there on a Sunday morning, though, and you’d better like kids. Small kids. Table after table full of loud, squealing, screeching kids, with moms who think it’s adorable, and dads who walk their daughters into the men’s room without regard to who might be standing at the urinal with his you-know-what hanging out. The place was like a day care center, is what I’m saying. If that’s what you’re into, you’ll love the Dobbs Diner.

Love this hometown diner. They treat you well and remember your order — making you feel like a regular! A little pricey but the food is very fresh. Great ambiance of a classic New York diner.

Wonderful little diner in the main square of town, located next to the Walgreens. Great portions. Prompt service. Looks like there’s a bakery on site, there were massive cookies stacked on the counter and the cakes in the display case looked heavenly. Can’t wait to head back and try one, the spinach and feta omelette I had was big enough. Will definitely be back when in town.

We came here before heading to the outlets on a Sunday, and I was so happy that they were wiling to customize my eggs. I essentially had eggs florentine — two poached eggs over pita topped with spinach and feta, with a side of tomato slices. The food was so good — Adam had scrambled eggs, and loved them, too. Everything was cheap, and the server was really nice and helpful.

Living in Westchester, its hard to ignore the allure of a late night snack or weekend brunch at a diner. Hungry for dinner and not having a lot of time, I thought I’d just try this place. The food is good, but the star was the Black and White milkshake. Worth the visit!
