Compleat Cyclist

Awesome place! I ride my bike to work and it definitely takes a beating. My rear fender was loose, I needed a new back light and air in my tires. Within 20 mins, my bike was finished and I also purchased a mirror all for $ 35. They definitely know their stuff about bikes in here.

Great bike shop owner was a messenger when he was younger he can fix just about anything to do with a bicycle a bit overstocked in the shop but the local bike shop is alive and well in chicago south burbs. I think his family had it before him

If you’re looking for a shiny showroom and frills, go somewhere else. If you want great, friendly service, kindness and personalized attention, you’ve come to the right place. Silly of me to not get the owner’s name, but from the moment my daughter, brother, and I walked in, he listened to everything we had to say and had great recommendations for us. I’m not a true bike rider and my daughter was getting her training wheels removed that day. He gave us ideas for trails in the neighborhood, adjusted my sister’s old bike so I could ride for the day and did this as though I was spending a million bucks. I mentioned a trailer that I’d bought brand new from him four years before that was used once. He told me to bring it in and allowed me to use it as trade on an awesome city bike that’s perfect for my needs: Riding alongside my brand new bike rider. I’ll make the 50 mile round trip to Compleat Cyclist before I go to any other bike shop in my neighborhood.

First time I was here. There are a TON of bikes packed into a one room showroom, with a repair station where you can WATCH the guy work on your bike! I was only there for a small part, but I was truly impressed :)
