Mr Ricky’s

The first time I went to Mr Ricky’s I went to the old location and honestly thought it was a dump. Females were in there wearing white tees, sweat pants, and ones. I’m sorry but if you’re going out please dress appropriately, don’t look like you rolled out of bed. Then it was a lot of «little boys» that outnumbered the females and acted like they just got done serving a prison term of 20 years. LOL. So I wasn’t too fond of this place. On a positive note: their patron margaritas use to be good as hell (haven’t had one in awhile though)
After they moved locations I’ve been back and can say it got a little better but honestly I don’t really like going here unless I’m sloppy drunk (then again though when you feel like this you can have fun anywhere right?). I just went there a little over a week ago and got there around 1:00am. We walked in and it wasn’t as packed as we thought it’d be so we were going to leave until the dude at the door said if we go to Secrets it’s $ 20 and it’s only $ 10 to get in here. So we stayed (plus we knew Secrets closes earlier). They ended up having Long Islands on special and they were decent. For the most part, drinks are average priced. The décor is decent for being a place in the suburbs, I just wish the dance floors were bigger. As far as the dress code you had some females in jeans/​tees/​gym shoes, some in leggings/​heels, and then some in dresses. Music was decent, your usual stuff you’d hear on WGCI or Power 92. It’s typically more females than males in the club. And the boys still haven’t changed! They either act like they’re shy or like they’ve never gotten laid and are destined to accomplish it that night. When my friend was dancing with this dude, I was standing nearby when two of his dudes came up trying to dance with me but the way they did it was immature as hell AND they spilt my brand new drink on me! That pissed me off like you wouldn’t believe. A few minutes later the one apologized and bought me a drink, trying to convince us to go out to eat with them afterwards but after you do some stupid stuff like that don’t bother me.
When we left I told my girl that going out made me realize how happy I am to be in a relationship because I can’t deal with these dumb, immature dudes no more. And she agreed! LOL
