We stopped here for breakfast. So good! The breakfast was just like home, and the prices were amazing. We fed three people a hearty breakfast, and only spent $ 25. I definitely recommend Gateway!

2 stars because patrons were very very pleasant!, friendly and helpful with local destination suggestions. This place needs to thank them all and repay them by working on food preparation quality.
MARCH 2nd, 2016, Breakfast. Food was really really bland, eggs were extremely over cooked and only semi hot upon arrival, coffee wasn’t great and cup was chipped on lip. Waitress wasn’t real friendly.
Dang shame because if you can’t accomplish breakfast successfully? Come on, your patrons deserve better, hire better people, especially a better cook, which is the foundation to your business. An investment into a better cook/​chef will pay off ten fold, guaranteed!

Wow… Smoked Pork Chops! I have never had these before, but every bite tasted like bacon. This cute little place is about an hour and twenty minutes from my house, but I’m going back.
The waitress was awesome and suggested the meal that I had. All of the meals we ordered were exceptional. The service was great. Just a friendly place with good value and great food.
Can’t wait to go back!

Gateway is a restaurant that has been in the community for well over thirty years. Formerly named Dot’s Restaurant, you will find that the food is great and the staff is very friendly. The entire building was remodeled in 2013 and all new appliances were installed.
Owners Don and Julie Bush have high standards when it comes to customer service and the quality of food, so you will leave without a doubt satisfied.
Breakfast is served all day long. There is a lunch buffet as well as buffets from Thurs-​Sat. For country-​style food, don’t miss out on Gateway. Order some fried pickles while you wait.
