I gave the black dog pub three tries, after the new management and I will never come back. Two in our party had the ribeye, don’t even try this, fatty and tough. I even ask the waitress if it was tough and she said no, I told her at the end it was tough and all she said«was it”/I can’t even give it one star. I would suggest get new management, this place has taken a noise dive!!! The only reason my post has one star is because I can’t continue.

I understand the restaurant is under new management you need to bring back the old management. Very disappointing no taste! Lighten up owners this place used to be busy on a Saturday night two tables and that includes us! This it for us 6 thumbs down!!!

Was in there last night. Salad bar was disgusting. Brown wilted lettuce soup is not hot barely warm. Macaroni salad turning liquidy. Both of us got sick.

I haven’t eaten here in awhile but I just love their salad bar! It is the best in town for sure. They have great food as well. We rented this location for a baby shower and had a great time! Staff was friendly and the food was great. I can’t say enough about the salad bar! NOMNOM! This restaurant is located at the golf course but is open to the public. They do have a bar in the front and more seating in the back. It is pretty small inside.

I was going to give 3 stars, but then I saw they had Duquesne beer… on tap! Wow, I haven’t seen beer like that since, well, since my childhood when I watched my uncles drinking it. Do yourself a favor, and just get a tall cold Duquesne and one of their hamburgers. The burgs are hand packed, the old school way and served with pub chips. It will take you back in time! Oh, and the prices aren’t bad either. Just look for the little Duke sitting on top of the beer tap!

Passing through the area and found this place by searching for nearby restaurants. Read the other reviews so I figured we would give it a try and we were not disappointed! Soup was good, wings were good & huge & our meals were great! The staff was very friendly also :)

Was passing through the area and took the recommendation from the front desk at one of the local motels. The pub is associated with a local golf course. My wife and I were unsure about the pub and almost walked out. The décor is a little dated. Luckily for us, a waitress walked by with plates of food as we were sitting having a drink and it looked and smelled great. We were happy we stayed. We had wings and burgers, although some at the bar were enjoying more elaborate meals. The wings were fried to perfection and had a very good sweet-chili sauce. The burgers were cooked perfectly to order and really were satisfying after a long day on the road. I had inquired about the wing sauce prior to ordering as I was unsure of the description. The manager came out twice as we were eating to make sure we were satisfied with our choice. I was also pleasantly surprised by the price. Mixed drinks and wine were $ 4.00. I had a top shelf vodka, on the rocks, for $ 5.00. While I don’t anticipate being in the area again anytime soon, I would strongly recommend this place.

Located on the golf course, I would choose here over Brady’s ANY day. Most days I would choose here over Out Of The Fire(OOTF). Why? They have booze, yo. Here’s the real deal: OOTF is casual fine dining, this place isn’t — but if you are considering OOTF, you should consider this place too. It’s a no frills, fake flowers on your table, type of joint. They turn out pretty good food, you don’t need a reservation, and you aren’t getting charged a cork fee because they haz all liquor. If you want something with the pretense of fine dining, or if you have trouble admitting that a well executed sammich is always better than«fine dining» executed with mere mediocrity, just go to OOTF and don’t be mad at me for leading you here. I really like their potato chips. I really like their salad bar(which is awesome for a quick, light lunch). I like their sandwiches — and am partial to their version on a club and one called the birdie. I’ve never ordered an entrée, but have attended a special event there that had a buffet — they had solid offerings(I don’t think those appear on the menu, so no point in talking about them too much — but everything was cooked properly and nothing was over cooked, which hard for a buffet set up to pull off). The only thing I don’t like is the cheesey broccoli soup — which is an unnatural color of orange that I remember from my mother’s «homemade» mac and cheese, which contained so much Velvetta. Anyway, check this place out.
