Purchased close to $ 22,000 worth of furniture. The sales person named Pilar induced us into thinking the juxtaposed Barcelona chairs we where buying where brand new. One was used and defective /crooked frame /later understood it was admitedly a defective floor sample. The owner had to get involved proceeding to replace the defective Barcelona but delivering a few weeks later a chair in a completely different color. Now we are stuck with a defective product. The second delivery(dinning table and chairs) took 6 mths + for delivery and is already Late by an additional month. No follow up. No leadership or structured support. Sure they have beautiful furniture! But lack infrastrucuture, inaadequate capital reflecting poor inventory and worst of all a malicious sales force that has no after sale training. I would not recomend buying from these people. Period. If you want a headache. Go ahead! There are plenty of other quality options!

I purchased over $ 18,000 worth of furniture. It took many months and many calls to get the furniture. The leather couches started to have the surface flake off and a hole developed. I called the store to ask if I could buy a patch. After dozens of phone messages and not a single return phone call I went in to the store. The staff didn’t care and I felt like they just wanted me to leave and not be bothered. The sales staff was extraordinarily aloof and«snooty» but when I purchased I chalked it up to them liking themselves a great deal and feeling like their store is really special. Looking back, I think they were just rude. Don’t expect ANY customer service after then sale. I would never buy anything from this store again.

I have been working in the Interior design business for over 10 years and a friend told me about this place. Addison House was able to help me meet this particular client’s needs. Walking in I saw many pieces that I liked, but I wasn’t sure that this was the only selection. When I spoke with Pilar, one of the sales reps, she offered some coffee and catalogs to browse through. WOW, the selection was a little overwhelming, but once I told Pilar what I was looking for, she helped me narrow down the options and also helped with the presentation for my client. I also learned that if my clients really love the selection, they would not mind waiting the 4 months of arrival from Europe. They are very busy so I suggest you make an appointment before going in.

I have never before seen such a rude and aloof sales staff. If you don’t speak Spanish, don’t plan on getting decent service. Came here on the recommendation of a friend, ready to purchase several items to furnish our new Miami Beach condo. We were«helped» by Janeane(sp?). She was extremely distracted, impolite, and unhelpful. Also, other sales people routinely interrupted us to talk to her. I thought maybe it was just a bad day for her, but we had to come back on two other occasions and she was the same way. The only thing that saved my Addison House experience for me was actually meeting and talking to the owner(who did not know we were unhappy with our service), who gave us a 20% discount on our purchase as a welcome-to-the-neighborhood. Mr. Owner, you have a wonderful store and great merchandise. Don’t let the poor customer service given from your staff drive people away!
