The place was dirty and looked abandoned. We went for the first time with our 2-year-old daughter and it was a very disappointing experience. The hostess at the front was not very attentive and barely talked to us about how the place worked. The place was hot. There were not any available tables, very few customers, but all the tables were full of empty beer bottles, plates, and napkins. It seemed that they were short staffed or something. We headed to the Toddlers area and there were not available tables either, we had to move«stuff» from one table to another and wipe our own table with some un-used napkins we found at another table. No one ever came to give us the menus. I had to get up and walk across the dining area to ask a server for a menu. He didn’t even apologize for the bad service, just gave me the menu and told me that the kitchen will close in 30 min. After 10 min. waiting a server came and took our order. He delivered the drinks(brought the iced tea but no sugar), and then the food without us even having silverware. The food was OK. Parents were playing with their kids in the playing area with their shoes on and the carpet looked dirty. I would come back only because my daughter had a great time playing with other children.

Hot, dirty, loud and not well kept. There is just a few activities here for the kids and the majority of the activities are missing key elements to have the little ones play. Definitely will NOT come back.

My daughter had fun playing in the toddler area; however the toys looked old, nothing had batteries, and some stuff looked dirty. I wish they could improve that section.

My kids love this place. As a grown up I don’t see the big woot about it but my kids are happy so I’m happy. Pricing is fair however, getting the anual pass is better than paying entrance fees if you’ll be going more than twice a month. I like that they have seperate sections for the littles and the older kiddos. I do think they need to have a few updates and be on top of their maintenance, every time we go there’s atleast 2 or 3 things out of service. The food is very good. Nothing out of this world, but very good. Portions are also perfect size for both adults and kiddos.

They get 2 stars only– just because I am being nice– this place needs a serious update– especially the toddlers area– barely any toys for smaller kids and what they have is all broken down and missing pieces, the custom are old and stinky, they should totally considering getting new ones already! it’s not like the entrance is for free. Aside from that– the place could use a really good clean up. This is a place for kids, you want to keep it as clean and sanitize as possible. The Lego tables are also due for an upgrade. The only thing that has improved was the bistro menu– but hey– I don’t come here for the food! Won’t be back or recommending until they actually start improving!

Came here on Halloween and since there was a kid’s event taking place downstairs, this place was empty… and I loved it! Free admission if you came dressed up in a costume(awesome sauce). They had a couple of raffles going on and events for the kids. I still saw a barefoot lady, which grossed me out. I feel like they should hire a foot patrol just to make sure that all of the nasty parents who think it is okay to be barefoot inside a carpeted children’s play area have socks. We did have a fun Halloween experience overall, fifth star missing because of the nasty barefoot lady.

I don’t have kids but I came to accompany my friends. The food was great and it’s relaxing since the kids can pretty much play on their own but are close enough to be visible at all times. Ohhh and they have wine and beer available which is always a plus.

My daughter absolutely adores this place and quit honestly I don’t see why. I’ve had the food three times and is not memorable at all, as I don’t even remember what I had. The kid stations are super lame. Lego station, arts & crafts, «karaōke», video games, indoor play area. They took off the computer station because they usually didn’t work. Parties are over priced of course. I only come here because my daughter nags and nags. She probably only likes it because I let her run around and she thinks she is unsupervised. If it were up to me I would never go again. y

I used to love to come to this cool de sac until a couple weeks ago when I brought my boys. This particular location is run down. Dirty & very poor service in all areas. I was here on a Thursday there was a lot of kids from a field trip and only 3 of the videos games was working. My son waited over an hour to play. All computers have been removed from here. The dressing area was a mess. 1 attendant for toddler & painting area. Waited over 30 min to get facepainting. Couldn’t get facepainting done correctly because paints have ran out and the remaining paints are to the last drop. This particular location is not worth what they charge to get in. Save yourself your money and spend it else where they are extremely understaffed and you’ll be watching your kids the whole time there’s 1 waiter &1 attendant for all areas on the kids playing areas.

Well where do I start the toys look old and grimy, the food took an hour to come out and when I finally got it my burger was burnt and looked like dog food. Spoke to the manager«useless». I will never come here again. Oh and I brought a birthday gift and we couldn’t go inside with it, I asked the person at the front why and she answered«I don’t know, I just know you can’t» oh okay great answer. I honestly wish Unilocal had no stars because giving it a one star rating is too nice. –stations are lame –place in general is dirty –food is disgusting –under staff(one waiter) *Don’t go to this place if you know what’s good*

Wow, last week I went to this place and to my surprise I had a TERRIBLE experience!!! What happen to this place I don’t know, what I do know is that management is killing the place. The best items of the menu were removed, for lunch we were offer a small menu of 4 items and two were not available! So I took one of the Items on the menu, waited for two hours and the food never came! I had to leave with no food at all! I kept asking the waiter, all he said was«is not my fault». Not to mentioned is extremely costly! Never ever be back!!! The place will force us to pay 18% gratuity on the food and the entrance cover! That is not right!

I have a cool de sac branch by my home and was excited to find they had one at dolphin mall being i come to shop here often and meet friends. Well, the excitement came and went… quickly. This particular place was not the cleanest… specially the tot section, it was very dirty and older kids were out of control coming in and out of it and accidentally knocking baby’s down, while no sign of workers doing anything to change that. And yes i did nicely mention it and it went ignored. The service… or at least our waitress was nice but the food was not great and when we sent an item back because it was cold, it practically came back the same. The environment was not as friendly in general and the cleanliness was concerning. I would not recommend this place, but i cant say i wouldn’t recommend the branch all together, the one by our house in Hallandale is great… actually pretty awesome. The place is super clean, very nice employees who seem to care about the kids and parents, attentive, food is great although just as pricey… but well worth it. Visit Hallandale cool de sac in gulfstream park. Thats what i would recommend.

We took our one year old daughter and she was the youngest child in the toddler area. There was no attendant so children who were clearly not toddlers were able to go in and run over the little ones. Also without an attendant kids were able to leave their shoes on even though it is posted that it should be socks only. There was also no one putting toys back or keeping it organized, so there were toy parts everywhere. What is the entry fee paying for if no one is working there???

I’m going to base this review on all the times I have taken my son here(first time being around 6 months and last time today at more than 3 years old). We have attended many play dates and it’s always fun for the kids to interact while the mommies eat and have a drink. We recently attended a birthday party as well. Toddler area seems to have improved some and I’m glad because it did look run down for some time. The rest of the place offers face painting, Legos station, coloring, computers, video games, a climbing area and dressing up. They also have a karaōke but not sure if it’s always available as we were able to do it only once. Their service is a hit or miss. Sometimes it’s pretty acceptable but other times it simply sucks and it takes forever to have your order taken, food on your table or even your drinks refilled. Food is ok. The pizzas at the party we attended were good but the ones we had today were not. Make sure you order marinara sauce and not some purée they seem to use. I do like their hummus trio. It’s 3 diff types and they are all tasty. So if you have toddlers or children under 8(I’m assuming older kids would get bored here) and you want to have a bite/drink while they play, def stop by.

I have a one and four year old, so I needed somewhere to take them on a rainy day. This place worked out great for both. They have a tot play area where we spent most of out time(bring socks for that). My 4 yr old actually had a great time. We also did the face painting, which is a nice touch since kids go crazy for that. I didn’t try the food because we came right in between lunch and dinner, but it looks pretty good. They have a lot of variety on their menu. The only drawback is that this place gets packed. By 2pm or was insane, and my little one was practically getting trampled in most of the play areas. Still, the design is great and there are attendants in each area to monitor the kids, break up any arguments, and make sure the bigger kids don’t trample the little ones. All in all… great place! I’ll definitely be back soon with my boys.

This place is fun but very small and also expensive, keep coming here because it’s so close to my home and my lil one loves it, just be sure to not eat here and to bring socks!

4÷30÷14: Had not been in a while. Now that my daughter is old enough to enjoy the craft making/tunnel play area, it is totally worth it. I stopped going since she had grown a bit bored of the toddler area and was still too small for the rest of the activities. She is now 2.6 but loves coloring/painting/craft making, etc. Food was ok(ordered a pizza). I do wish they had more vegetarian/vegan options. I would have loved a veggie burger or something of the sort. Not many options in that department. My server, Julian, was very nice, checked on us often, and during his down time, he helped clean up toys, and attended the art area. Service was great. I wish there would have been more enforcement on the sock wearing of toddler area, as kids were all in shoes and parents kept walking in and out, also wearing shoes. Overall a good experience. More menu options, and maybe a special price for weekday or fl residents would make this local a 5*.

i can’t believe it took me so long to review the venue that hosted my baby’s 1st birthday! although it was hectic(lots of kids running around and it was indeed a Saturday afternoon), the Cool de Sac staff delivered. food was good and the kids had lots of fun. if you’re not there for a birthday party, your little ones can enjoy lots of different activity stations while you eat and watch them play. its a genius idea, really.

Good place to spend a couple hours with the kids in an indoor setting. It has a few different play areas such as the princess dress-up and make-up area, the art tables, the Leggo building area, the science station, the toddler area and the climbing maze. While the kids play, the adults can relax in the seating area which is set in the middle to provide a good view of all the play areas. It gets 3 stars, however, because the food is not good, the service is so-so, and the attendants were not always at the kids’ stations like they were supposed to be. They tell you at the front desk all the wonderful things that the price covers, such as face painting, etc. But the face-painting attendant was nowhere to be found for about half hour during our stay. Also, beware that the food and drinks police will stop you at the door and not permit you to enter if you should break the cardinal rule of entering with a Starbucks coffee(or any other food item) in hand! Still, it’s a fun place for the kids to run around while you rest after a long day of shopping at the mall.

Three stars for the fun, awesome activities they have for kids here: a playground, science discovery center, face painting, video games, dress up and Legos. They also have a café/restaurant here for parents to relax while the kids go crazy with the activities. The menu has healthy options for adults and kids. I also feel pretty safe about the security: they give each family a different color wrist band and a staff member guards the only way out. Two stars taken away for the inattentive servers in the restaurant, the quality of food and the prices on the menu. Every time I come here, you have to chase down a server to take your order, and this is whether the place is busy or not. The servers are usually too busy socializing with each other to pay attention. The other staff members are usually nice and attentive to the kids. The quality of food is mediocre. You would think it would be better with the prices. Nine dollars for pre-packaged hummus &6 pita slices? Please… My espresso tasted terrible and my chicken soup tasted like store brand. My husband ordered a burger and the bun collapsed half-way through, spilling the onions, ketchup and lettuce all over the plate. I don’t mind paying $ 11 for a burger but make sure it at least stays together! But my kid loves this place so we keep coming back. We’ll just eat somewhere else before we do.
