A friend purchased photos on her Disney cruise for $ 249 not knowing how complicated it was to get the photos off the discs. As a computer expert, I offered to help her because there was nothing she could do with the discs herself.
Transferring images from a disc to a computer should be a very simply process. Instead, the company that creates these discs required me to use software that simply failed and gave me an error message that I’ve never seen before. Then I was told to use a different program that had this message… «Installing applications may present a security risk to you and your computer.»
I sent a message to Image Photo Services and I was told by one of their employees that he wasn’t obligated to answer my questions. He also told my friend she shouldn’t have contacted an IT person to help her. If the process was simple, she wouldn’t have had to contact an IT person.
I’m surprised Disney allows a company like this to be a lessee because customer service is usually extremely important to Disney.
