I would like to start off by being honest about something… we only came in here because the Italian place couple doors down was closed and us girls were HUNGRY. Second thing I’m going to be honest about is that I’m glad we came here! Service was spectacular. We walked in 30 min before their closing time yet was still greeted with all smiles. I had to «go to the restroom» and tell our server to please bring a congratulatory dessert since we were celebrating one of the girls engagement and the other ones pregnancy(yes, I found out about these wonderful news on the same day!) Skipping the meal part, the server brought out the brownie with ice cream dessert and he wrote«congratulations baby» which I thought was super fucking cute!(Sorry, are we allowed to curse on Unilocal?Lol) Food wise… well I’m sure the FOH is more welcoming towards last minute customers than the BOH lol. I ordered the steak arepa and felt like the steak was a little over cooked, a tender medium would’ve been more to my liking… then again I wasn’t asked a temperature. My other friend ordered the chicken arepa which was decent. And my third friend ordered the arepa moderna. The arepa on that dish was so over cooked. I actually like crispy arepa but this arepa was so crispy that it was a bit uncomfortable to eat. Nonetheless, we sat outside and did not feel rushed to leave even though we stayed about 40 min after their closing time. As we walked through the inside embarrassed to see that there were only 2 employees left waiting for us to leave, they still bid is farewell with a genuine smile. I highly appreciate great service and I will definitely come back to try their parillada at a time when cooks will not be so disgruntled to receive a ticket order. I have a feeling that their food is amazing but I can only find out if I come back. Parillada Familiar Da Silva, you still deserve 5 stars in my eyes! P. S. I think the address or location on Unilocal is wrong because when I tried to check in, it showed that the restaurant was about a block down.

Divino.

Not bad for having just opened. Place reminds me of Venezuela, of course! Feels right at home with live music and the environment. The food was great, but wasn’t a fan of the pink sauce. Other than that, the waiter was extremely nice and attentive. Great job– will be back.

Una tristeza de parrilla por casi 30 dolares pa mantener el punto y la decoracion a costillas nuestras… una grosería. La comida nunca se debe sacrificar por el buen aspecto del local. Jamás se va a comparar con el que hay en Venezuela. Cría fama y acuestate a dormir.

The best parrilla EVER, it has an unique style, its been a tradition for more than 40 years, I recommend them 100%. Son Unicos en su estilo, la atencion es de 1era, calidad y servicio. Simplemente si de carnes hay que comer ellos son los especialistas!!!
