When you go to the store and see orange juice two for six dollars, what happens when you go to the counter with one? You pay three dollars, right? Not here! After you stand in line for twenty minutes, seriously… I’ve yet to experience this location with any sense of urgency, ever; come to think of it that’s pretty typical of my Walgreen’s experiences, not just at this location. The price on the oj rang up ridiculously high in error. I asked about the sale price and the adjusted price was four dollars. At least they weren’t trying to upsell me to cookies which they’ve done in the past. Wait in line like it’s the registry then they want to upsell you to a cookie? Omg, just ring it up and move on to the next customer. I see the cookies. If I want to be fat too, don’t you think I’d be stupid enough to grab a couple? No, I did not buy the oj but they get a star for having body wash and razor blades.

Walgreens in no CVS, let’s get the clear right away and I think we’ll all lower our expectations accordingly. PROS: If you live in the area, this is the closest and only pharmacy so it definitely has the convenience factor. It’s one of the only establishments in Codman Square with its own private parking lot. CONS: They never have any products and the same few people work every time, but they’re never friendly. CVS automatically asks you for your rewards card, Walgreens alwayss forgets. Perhaps it’s because they’re new with the rewards card, still I want all of my rewards!

This store is in Codman Square, FYI. Again, it’s about the convenience. It’s Walgreen’s, so you can get whatever you need with a side of white tees(3 for $ 10; what a deal!) and other items that rotate on the counter. I have a difficult time resisting mechanical Santas, gobbling turkeys… yeah. Don’t buy sodas from here, however; the refrigerator is open, which means that the sodas are never ice cold(WTH?). I’ve gotten got two times(I’m hardheaded; I wanted to give them another shot) with warm soda and had to go down to McDonald’s for some ice(so you KNOW it was warm). Otherwise, the photo lab is good and the overall service is friendly. Walgreen’s has its own parking lot; just be careful about pulling out onto Washington Street.
