My family and I live near by and frequently dine at and order take out from Blasis since it’s within walking distance of our home. This is by far one of the best neighborhood restaurants around. The food is always delish and the wait staff pleasant. It’s kid friendly and great for an adult date night with drinks as well. The Chicken Marsala is my favorite, but I’ve tried almost all the dinners on the menu and none have disappointed! My only reason for giving 4 stars is the take out dishes seem smaller in portion than what you would receive on your plate, but it is still a good size meal. My kids love the French Bread pizza which I didn’t realize was even on the menu until recently! Grab a Richie’s Slush on your way out!

Love this place! Great spot for a pitcher and a plate of honey hots with friends after work! Great local spot, great service and have never had anything that wasn’t absolutely awesome!

Craved a big fat juicy sub all day… Disappointed. Would never pay $ 8 for a «small sub»(which was a sandwich) again. Very basic, and too much money for just a turkey sandwich. Should’ve went elsewhere.

Moving from South Boston to Adams Village area of Dot left one big hole in my life. A go-to place to get an inexpensive dinner to either bring home or eat out. I am not a top chef and still haven’t jumped on the blue apron bandwagon so my dinners often involve someone making me something. This area of dot has more than its fair share of pizza and Chinese joints all over but I would love to not have to be cut out of my house from all the fried food. In SB Amsterdam café was my go-to(for years!) with their fresh wraps and salads(and occasional fro-yo) … but it took me a while to find Blasi’s. Part of the reason was they don’t deliver(or belong to a service that delivers(dash, foodler) so I eventually walked in one afternoon and what did I find? Everything I could ever want in a local walkable go-to spot. The restaurant itself is always clean and buzzing. The décor is homey and relaxing and the waitstaff had always been top notch. I have eaten here a half dozen times and each time was good as I worked my way around the different entrees and sandwiches. What I use this place for mostly is take out from the deli section of the menu. You can basically build any kind of sandwich you want and they’ll make it perfect every time — and in about 15 minutes. If you live nearby and haven’t ventured over to the blasi, you should. Hey Blasi’s. Get on foodler. You’d own the market. Until then I’ll keep walking over. You’re worth it.

We haven’t been here in a year or two and this was our first time back due to not working in the area anymore. Holy cow is all I have to say. The bruschetta is fabulous and huge, my wife and I needed a box for an appetizer. It was so fresh and hearty not what I expected. I got the prosciutto sandwich that was delicious. Lots of thinly sliced prosciutto a huge piece of mozzarella with big ripened tomatoes. My wife got a chicken caesar salad wrap. The portion was great and the real chicken was grilled perfectly. I of course have to mention the wonderful service. Always friendly and attentive. We may have to stop in more often.

Went back and picked up an order from the deli, best turkey tip sandwich I’ve ever had. It was huge. everyone I dealt with was very nice and the order was 100% correct, despite the complicated order.

Five of us from Age 15 to 74 enjoyed a great lunch in an open-windowed café environment overlooking iconic Adam’s Corner neighborhood comings and goings in Dorchester. Warmly greeted by owner Joey Blasi, we were served by friendly wait staff to lots of well –prepared specialities: Boneless Chicken Tenders, Nachos, Chicken Parmigiani, Linguini Carbonara, Our Reuben, Broiled Haddock, and Chicken Florentine. A memorable Lunch Event!

Blasi’s is a nice little spot in Adam’s Village. The restaurant is clean, and service is fine. Not overly attentive or friendly, but just fine. You also get bread and oil while you are waiting for your food. As for the food, I used to absolutely LOVE the burgers, but it has been several years since I have gotten one, so I can’t comment on them now. What I do love is the red sangria. That took me totally by surprise as I was honestly not expecting much, but it is really, really good. The penne Italia with penne, sausage, and tomato basil sauce was good. It tastes just like expected. The turkey tips(w/broccoli and rice pilaf) came with a light coating of BBQ sauce and were not too dry, which was appreciated. The steak tips probably would have been better, but I realized that when I ordered them. I also got a really tasty salad one time with chicken and dried cranberries. It was on the specials list, but I have seen it there over the past several months. One thing I did not like were the mashed potatoes that came with my salmon with lemon caper sauce. I think this was another special. The salmon was tasty, but I really couldn’t finish the mashed potatoes. They seemed too watery and tasteless. Overall, this place is fine to grab lunch or dinner. It can be crowded on the weekends, and one Tuesday night they were having trivia, but I’m not sure how frequently they have it. If you live in the area or need a place to grab a bit to eat, I wouldn’t hesitate. It is nothing mind-blowing, but will do just fine. I’ll be back soon to try another burger.

Went to purchase a sandwich yesterday and their still not wearing gloves when preparing sandwiches. Is it just me or does it turn other people off when he handles meats cheeses and greens with his bare hands. I don’t think I’ll go back…

This place rocks! I absolutely loved living in Dorchester and even more that Blasi’s was a short walk from my house. Very easy to get to from Fields Corner by bus or Ashmont Station if you wanna walk it. The staff was always friendly and sitting at the bar I got quite a few questions cuz I guess it was obvious I wasn’t from Dot haha I loved being here during game times cuz the boys around here get really worked up. The food was always hit or miss. Sometimes it was juicy, flavorful and hit the spot and other times it was lacking in all three. The one constant here is the beer and service. I especially love the deli side. Making a stop after work for a cold cut sammie with chips and a drink to take home and I was set for the night! The place was always clean and since I usually visited at different times the place seems constantly busy. Not sure they have a down time. Like that it is family friendly and that there are lots of TV’s to enjoy the game wherever you decide to sit. Since moving I miss this place and need to get in again soon.

Nestled in Adams village, nice little lunch spot. Yummy sandwiches and good beer/wine selection. Sangria is my fave. Staff is friendly, menu reasonably priced(again, I’ve only been for lunch). I like to visit when it’s sunny and warm so I can sit next to the windows. Oh, and I finally tried a homemade cannoli… yum. definitely a neighborhood favorite.

Great local vibe and community feel. A filling menu with drinks to match. Be careful of the sangria… it packs a punch. Great for fun night out, late night drink, or watching the Red Sox, Bruins, Pats or Celtics. A true neighborhood gem.

Fantastic neighborhood spot — whether you’re eating at Blasi’s or getting take out it’s always good! Their menu has anything you could want and it’s all delicious! My family regularly gets take out from Blasi’s and it’s a hit every time. Their chicken caesar wraps, cheese burgers, eggplant rollatini, and meatball subs are just a few of our favorites. Speaking of subs — they have a deli at the entrance of the café and use their own freshly cut cold cuts for their sandwiches — it’s so yummy(their italian sub is to die for). Went there a few weeks ago in the early afternoon for drinks and apps and it was perfect. The staff was so attentive and sweet and the food was great, we got fried calamari and bruschetta and it hit the spot! So reasonably priced for the amount and quality of food that you’re getting! Definitely can’t go wrong at Blasi’s!

Owner sent me a nasty message right after I left my review… so let me clarify yes we each had one drink. My bf is a chef raised by chefs… when he doesnt even want to finish his food that’s a bad sign. The owner suggested I get a life and hit McDonalds down the street — funny I thought the same. Food just wasn’t tasty … the price seemed way too high for what we ordered. Nasty owner makes me confident I will not give Blasis another shot. He could have asked what was wrong with the food nicely — scallops were powdered and overcooked no real bacon taste and the maple didnt pair that well, chicken parm was all bread and the burger was bland and very raw on the inside. It tasted a lot better after i microwaved the leftovers.

If you like the Irish this is the place to hang. Loved listening to the Irish accent all around you. Very attentive service! Very good food and drink. Nice bright atmosphere! Very small bar, but plenty of tables! Had the sausage and chicken cacciatore… delicious! Very generous serving! Definitely worth trying if you’re in the neighborhood!
