This is the best store I have found to buy work boots from. I bought some Thorogood boots from them a few years ago. They held up great. I went back two years later when I needed a pair of steel toe ones for work(the first were still wearable but worn down). They sell great products all made in the USA. Redwing is pretty popular now for a non work boot and Ive seen allot of mens clothing stores sell them for huge mark ups. Here they don’t seem to do that. Customer service here was first class too. Both guys I met on my separate trips here were helpful and friendly. No pressure. Guy asked what I did for work and how the boots would be uses and pointed me to options that would fit. Even wanted me to put on a thicker work sock to try on with the boot. I thought that was a sales tactic at first to get me to buy socks but he ended up throwing them in for free. Real gentleman’s store and I would recommend it to anyone looking for work boots.

I’ve bought two pair of boots here. Both US made Redwings and both are still going strong. I’ve also met the owner there and he couldn’t be nicer. It’s a local and family owned business which is something I’m always looking to support. If you’re looking for quality American made work boots and want to support a local business than you should definitely give this place a shot.

I also had a great experience with Domestic boot. I went with my six-year-old daughter, and one of the owners’s helped me select some work shoes. Here’s what I got : * Red Wing shoes made in USA * Incredibly heavy leather(have not broken down in more than two years) * $ 5 more than the crappy imported Rockports I had that lasted 9 months before the sole was too worn out. * «Recraftable», which means I can have any cobbler throw a new sole or heel on them anytime they wear out. And a local business? What’s not to like? I didn’t get a brownie, though… I can’t say enough about the quality of what I bought, and what an easy, pleasant experience it was.
