I’ve been to this place three times mainly because it’s convenient and across the street from my job. I love their yogurts and breakfast sandwiches. While the food is good I definitely wouldn’t come here if it weren’t so convenient. The ladies working there are very nice and know a lot of the customers by name. They are definitely a little slow as some Unilocalers already mentioned… Worth a try though

This was my first time here. They are way too slow. I got a simple sandwich and 20 mins later she says to me you should have said something :/ummmmmmm you took my money aren’t you supposed to know who ordered. There needs to be more people.

This place is super cute for a local breakfast/coffee house. Last time I went the bagels were a little stale but the coffee is right on. I am always a little hesitant having others make my coffee since I don’t like too much sugar or cream but they always make it delicious! I come here every time I am in the area

I LOVE this place! The coffee is awesome, i’m a fan of the toffee caramel. They have great breakfast sandwiches and their bagels are on point! small place so i usually take it to go. Would never go to dunkin donuts if i’m anywhere near the mud house!

I’ve given this place about 5 tries. The coffee tastes like mud– it’s really strange. I thought it was me so I kept trying. Tedeschi’s is way better in the area and of course Flat Black. I haven’t tried the food.

Nice little place. Simple with a ton of coffee selections available. Respectable breakfast and lunch offerings. Limited table space, bug fun to people watch if you get a spot by the window. Cash Only.

We wanted to be environmentally friendly, so my friend and I sat in the nice looking café and ordered coffee mugs for $ 1.65 each, which turned out to be TINY mugs(think college dining hall mugs) that can contain about 6oz of fluid. These are smaller than their small paper cups, DESPITE being better for the environment and less convenient than the freedom of those paper cups to walk out and take a stroll. Okay, maybe I’m revealing my first-world-overly-privileged egocentricity, maybe the coffee itself tastes wonderful; after all, that’s what really counts.. . I’m sure if I got one of the«orange-mocha-chocolate-frappachino”-type drinks, the sugar would have overwhelmed by taste buds and masked the low-quality coffee taste, but, alas, no such luxury with a plain cup of joe. Oh, did I mention it is CASHONLY? «Bi-winning.»

I went to the mud house this morning around 6:20am because I had a craving for a grilled cheese with bacon. So I called around 6:05 to put in my order and it was ready when I got there. I have had a grilled cheese with bacon from there on about 3 other occasions and it was really good. I get to work open up my meal and there is NO bacon! I called the Mud House to let them know they messed up my order and they were not sympathetic ATALL! I mean they could have at least apologized for messing up my order, I was not seeking a free meal or anything out of it, a simple apology would have done. Here is how the conversation went Me: Hi I just picked up an order for a grilled cheese with bacon from there and there was no bacon on it, I was just wondering if you all charge the same price for a grilled cheese and a grilled cheese with bacon… girl that answered the phone: No. it’s 50 cents cheaper(longggg awkward pause)…me: umm… ok! Needless to say I feel that the young girls working there that have very poor customer service skills. For $ 5.35 for a grilled cheese with bacon I would hope that they could get my meal right considering its VERY simple to make. Food-5 stars Service– ¼ a star

I went to this place to grab some coffee and found out to my amazement that they do not serve espresso. How can you be a coffee place and not serve espresso. Shoot, even nasty dunkin serves espresso — So I left. The place did look very nice and seem to have a good vibe. If you only want drip coffee I say give it a shot. If you want espresso or espresso based drinks head somewhere else.

Mudhouse is lovely. Breakfast sandwich is always amazing. Eggs are cooked to order. Veggie cream cheese is so delicious! Toasted almond ice coffee is my favorite. Ladies are so friendly and always welcome you w a warm smile. Lines can get long, especially on Saturdays. Only negative is they close too early(2pm) and are closed on Sundays. Come on! We need good coffee on Sundays too!

It’s amazing how sounds and smells take you on memory trips through time. I step into The mid house and instantly I feel like Im back in summer camp. I’m at the little candy hut in summer camp except its coffee and breakfast. The girls behind the counter are such a hoot. They seem to know everyone and when one if their favorite customers walk in, they let the everybody know. My husband calls the coffee concoctions I get, «mixed drinks»; well they have some of the best«mixed drinks» around

The last few times I was in there it was MUCH faster to get my sandwich. The girls behind the counter were bumping into each other because it was so crowded but I’m impressed with the update and will go there instead of Dunkin Donuts now just because I’m in a rush.

Great food and even better coffee. A bit unorganized when placing orders and waiting for food. Still a favorite place of mine.

This is a cute little spot to stop in for a coffee and a breakie sandwich. Staff are very friendly and they make your food pretty quickly while you wait. They do have some nice healthier options as well such as egg whites and whole wheat english muffins for those watching calories.

The Mud House is super small(only 6 tables) and the line was out the door when we walked up but it went by really quickly and the service was wonderful. In fact, I think the woman that helped Josh and I was the owner and she was great — she helped us choose which coffee we’d like(there was more than a dozen to choose from — and they weren’t syrups!) and she even chatted with us briefly. I noticed a lot of regulars as the Batista’s used their names and knew their orders before they got up to the counter to pay. Best part? The breakfast sandwiches we got were delicious and the coffee was possibly the best I have had in a longggg time. I got an Iced Butternut Caramel coffee with Soy and 2 sugars and it was literally perfect. I guarantee if you go here you will definitely go back and quickly because the coffee is so good(and the service rocks too).

I love the Mud House. You can tell that the employees really care about service because they’re very attentive and really talk up their food. I ordered a small coffee and an English muffin with ham, egg, and cheese, and it was delicious, with the cheddar melting off the bread and the egg just right. It all came to just over $ 5. The interior is really cute and bright, with a lollipop tree in the corner for kids and a booth by the front window so you can people-watch. I’m so glad I found out about this place, and I’ll be back as much as possible.

Cute little coffee shop. I walked in early in the morning, bleary from a 4:30AM wake-up and airport run(the things we do for our significant other!). Despite the fact that it was 6AM, the staff were bright-eyed and cheery. Some chatted up a local who sat at the tiny counter with a mug of coffee. The others tended to those stopping in on the way to work. The coffee was fine. It’s not remarkable, but it serves its purpose and is served with a smile. Not sure if the baked goods are made on site, but they are definitely delivered fresh. My scone was good. Looks like they are really trying to establish a friendly, quality coffee shop. They pay attention to little things, like giving you a red-lip-shaped sticker over the hole in your lid when you order a coffee to go. It’s a fun little thing that shows they care.
