I absolutely love the fried lobster– yummy… just the thought of it makes my mouth water. The fried chicken is pretty good too, their menu selection is plentiful as well. I would give this a 4 or 5 if we did not have to keep around for the standing waiters to come around. Just a piece of advice for management if they are reading this. Being proactive goes a long way because your food is delicious, but when I need water or tea to wash this down there will be points deducted.

Under new ownership so dropped by for lunch last week to try out. Ordered two most basic rice dishes and it took them 50 minutes to bring out. Really weird cause there were nobody else at the place except us two, which should have been a bad giveaway. Sign outside advertised free drinks and lunch discount but didn’t get it. Food sucks too. Last owner turned this dump around into a decent place but this new owner will turn it back into the dumspter. Can’t wait til the next owner come to the rescue.

I went to saigon seafood with some of my friends for dinner and was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. I got the yellow seafood noodle with internal pork and the broth was so on-point! My friend got the fried lobster, and after trying it, I instantly regretted not getting it instead. If I go there again m definitely getting the lobster. I also got a side of wontons which was really good too. The place was a little loud though, probably because the US women’s soccer team was playing Germany for the World Cup semi finals.

My favorite dishes are the lobster, duck vermicelli, and yellow noodle with seafood. The place can be loud during the wkend with birthday parties and wedding happening, people would be karaōke-ing, drinking, talking really loud. The atmosphere is really authentic and vietnamese

Love the spicey fried lobster. Smoothie was not good at all. Food was fresh. Delivery is fast and price for twin lobster is really worth it.

Food wise it was a 3.5÷5. Nice and spacious place for either a small, large, or super large party. Ordered lobster which wasn’t bad… come later when dinner is served so you can get a more fresh lobster. Egg rolls weren’t bad for the price too. Catfish was good, sauce was nice. Also ordered a beef dish that I don’t recall but wasn’t bad. Overall, the food tasted a little off but not bad for the price and location. Service was super quick and nice in my opinion and definitely would make the trek down to Dorchester next time.

I ordered takeout tonight via foodler. I went to pick up my order and they couldn’t find it, then realized it was with the delivery orders. The chicken wings were overcooked to the point some of it was inedible. The boneless spareribs were cold and the flavor was very bland. The phở is pretty good.

Tried the spicy fried lobster and was pleasantly happy with what I got! This may be my new take out spot. We ordered house rice and sum other things and I was very happy with everything. So tired of the crappy food in this area but this right here is a gem.

Saigon has never disappointed me, until now! I went in and ordered the ginger scallion lobster, which is normally great. Two minutes went by(I’m not exaggerating) and our lobster was brought over to our table. We were skeptical with how quick it came out, but gave it a chance since Siagon has never failed. Unfortunately, 90% of the lobster was cold, and the other 10% was barely warm. We asked the waitress(spoke VERY little English) for another lobster and an explanation as to why it came out so quickly. She agreed to take it back, and gave us a BS excuse. We noticed when the«fresh» lobster came out that it was the same lobster because our old pieces were on the plate, they just warmed it up. Our waitress also rubbed us the wrong way by putting her wet hands all over our straws before putting them in our waters. GROSS!!! When it comes to seafood, I expect more from a restaurant due to the illness that can arise without proper care and handling. I would hate to see a place that is known for something so delicious to decline in service.

Came here with my boyfriend to pick up the spicy fried lobster and scallion pancakes. I arrived and they seemed to have misplaced my food but they rectified the situation. The lobster was great, seasoned well, but their scallion pancakes were a bit soggy. My boyfriend also bit into a scallion pancake and found a lobster claw in there. Gross.

This is back in 2010⁄2011. Not a good place to have a clean formal dinner. My family held a wedding dinner here and lets say I was very upset arriving to see how dirty the cups were. I notified the waiters and they did not want to replace or clean the cups, instead they made excuses that they had no more new cups. They then gave me water to clean the cups myself. How dare they did that! Our guests were coming and my family did not want to cancel the dinner just because of dirty cups. The food starts to come out and everything was fine until the shrimp balls came out, they were undercooked once you bite in them you can taste the rawness. I wanted to puke! In the end of this dinner, none of the waiters/waitresses apologized and expected some of my family’s wedding cake and a good tip. I wish oh how I wish I could have given them none. Just the fact that this event was supposed to be a perfect dinner since it is for a wedding, and the people just expect things from you as if they have given great service blew my mind. I’m surprised at how I did not complained about this. Recently I came here for a birthday party(during the superbowl) and remembering how this place handled my past event, I did not have any high expectations at all. The food was good and was cooked, which it should be. However, the workers thought I wanted to hold on to the birthday cake i came in with when its obvious it should be kept in the fridge(Its a usual custom that happens in any place you bring cake). I think the workers here are just not knowledgeable about what they should do to keep their customers happy. We asked for wine and it seemed like they didn’t want to make the effort in getting it for us. One of the guests went up to get it herself and even had to ask for cups twice, its obvious us ladies were not going to drink out of the bottle. Overall this experience I had this time was good compared to the past, but I will never forget what they did. It was such a bad experience. The place has great lobster, soft shell crab, and fried flounder.

I guess I’ve been sleepin’ on this spot! Been hearing so many good things about this place. I have seen pics, so one day we decided to venture to them and give it a try. We ordered takeout– Spicy Fried Lobster, Shrimp Fried Rice and Chicken Pad Thai! I must say ALL of it was deeeeeelish! Definitely good to know we have some great Vietnamese food around. Sick of the same ol’ crap. Yesterday we did take out again, Salt and Black Pepper Chicken, Shrimp Fried Rice and an order of chicken soup(because cold weather is awesome for soup). Superb yet again! Didn’t have the soup until now. Not like your everyday place. The soup was«in pieces»…loved it. Put the broth in the pot to heat up and added the chicken and noodles. Turned the fire off and added the rest of the ingredients. Soooo tasty! Will be back again for a Friday night treat. If you haven’t been, you need to go. Maybe next time we will eat in!

I always get their fried salt and pepper chicken and lobster scallion and ginger lobster. The fish maw soup is delicious and I recently tried the scallion pancakes which was also yummy. It can get loud with large group parties and karaōke going on.

This place during the night time is more for a scene of old Asian people! Sorry not sorry This place is perfect for staying out drinking and eating seafood. Although the food isn’t too amazing but hey it’s pretty loud here. Good for large groups! The calamari doesn’t taste fresh. The pad Thai is dry.

Hey the food here isn’t too bad. Great lobster dishes and I liked their seafood fried rice. Vegetables tasted normal. Nothing really to complain about. A good to try if you are in the area.

It seems like this location has changed owners since the last time I visited them. Their food is 100% better than recent years. The wonton soup is delectable to the tongue and stomach with warm chicken broth, silky smooth wonton wrappers, and a pork & veggie meatball that gives this soup the perfect taste. The pad thai had a nice balance of flavors, vegetables, noodles, and chicken. The dish was so delicious that I actually questioned whether I was in a Thai or Vietnamese restaurant? The highlight of the meal was the twin ginger scallion lobster all for $ 20.95. The lobster is fresh, chopped, fried, and then sauteed with ginger and scallion and absolutely delicious. I like to think of it as a lazy man’s lobster because I don’t have to work hard to enjoy the lobster meat. The staff is friendly but be prepared to dine in a loud environment if they are hosting a party or event.
