Absolutely awful service, we went in early to surprise the kids with a donut before a big day my daughter asked for sprinkles to be put on her donut which has never been a issue anywhere else we have ever been and the lady rudely refused liked it was a big deal to add some sprinkles on top of a kids donut??? Really??? How much business could you possibly get in this tiny city to be too busy to add a sprinkle, also when my little sister was given her donut the lady’s hair touched it. So it obviously got thrown away. Awful customer service and not sanitary in any way.

This place has been great ever since it opened. The sandwiches are delicious, the doughnuts are yummy, and the prices are very reasonable. Not to mention the friendly owners who are very helpful. I definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area.

Unilocal’s map is a little off. It’s actually on the corner of California and Blossom. My favorite things from the Donut Shop are their smoothies and egg rolls. I would vote their smoothies are actually better than Jamba Juice. They’re really more of a sherbet milkshake and are a steal at only $ 3. Perfect break time snack during the summer and walking distance, from well, anywhere in DP. The egg rolls are made at the restaurant they also own across the street. They’re always greasy and fresh, full of pork and noodles! They’re not on the menu but they’re a buck each and usually in a warmer by the register. You might get lucky and find a corn dog in there too. It makes sense, they’re all in done in a deep fryer like the donuts. As for the donuts… AVOID. They’re dry and nasty. If you’ve ever been out of DP and had a real donut, you’ll know these are a poor excuse. They also make a pretty decent sandwich. It’s something Mom would make, lunch meat on regular bread with LTO. Better than primo’s though. Their breakfast bagel sandwiches are good too, just convincing them to leave off the jalepenos can be difficult.
