Barlovento

I worked with them during an «upgrade» to the creek/​storm water route through my backyard via the notoriously stupid Dekalb County government. While the Dekalb Stormwater Department was an absolute nightmare to deal with, I was pleasantly surprised with the professionalism and courteousness of their on-​site crew. They made every effort to provide me access to my backyard and driveway, even halting work and moving trucks at times. The superintendent also answered every question and concern I had to the best of his ability and directed me to the appropriate personnel when he didn’t have an answer.
So why the three stars? It bugged me a little that they had to use my power ²⁴⁄₇ for a pump to pump the water out of my creek and didn’t offer me compensation. They also used my water, broke my hose (replaced it, then took it back, then returned it when I complained), and used my carport for storage, still not offering compensation.
Come to the job prepared!
