Stay away! This place has employees that don’t have the training or no how to repair professionally. They don’t care about the customer or how they treat people. I had a phone fix here about 6 months ago I had to take the repaired phone back to them 3 times because it was not fixed correctly and I live 45 min away from Dothan. So today I decided to take a phone to be repaired. The lady before me in line picked up her tablet and had the same problems with this store. They fixed her tablet but forgot to put the color screen on. She paid extra for the color screen and it was written on the receipt to put color screen on. Well my turn came I gave them my phone. About a hour latter they call me to say they can’t fix the screen. I asked why and they said the phone would not turn on. I told the man to put it on the charger it was dead when I took it in. He argued it didn’t work. I went to pic it up and he would not give me a refund he tried to charge me. I asked to talk to the manager that was a mess. I asked them to show me how he tried to charge it. I had to tell him to use a different charger and guess what my phone charged. Yes the dumb ass man had no clue what he was doing. Stay away from this place at all cost. They will rip u off and ruin your day. Ugh

I wish i would have read the reviews on here before going to get my iphone 5s screen fixed. I can say that everything that is stated in the previous reviews is completely accurate. The employees have no idea what they are doing and will most likely damage your property. My phone screen has now had 3 screens put on it. To top it all off, now the vibrate no longer works, the earpiece randomly stops working, and it is dropping calls randomly now as well. The manager(Tyler) said when I asked for a refund that he would have to get approval from his district manager and then might be able to get me a refund if he installed a broken screen back on the phone. I have never experienced such incompetent service. I am following suit with the other reviewer and filing a BBB complaint and contacting the mall manager. I know there aren’t a lot of options in Dothan to get a phone repaired. Please do yourself a favor and do not risk your property by taking it to this place.

Unbelievably terrible. I dropped off an iPod to have the screen fixed on May 10th. And was told 7 – 10 days. I was told they’d call me with an update. Of course they never called and FOURTEEN days later we called them back and they said they had to order the screen and it never showed up.(Thanks for the call). They promised… again…that they’d call and that it would definitely be ready by the next weekend(Memorial Day weekend). Again, no call or anything. So I stop in and I’m told that«the post office lost the shipment» …because that happens all the time… right. I was told by the kid at the counter, who is apparently also the manager, that he’d call and email the distributor and would«call me by Wednesday to let me know a status, even if he didn’t hear anything at all», just a status update. Again, no call. So I call again today, 21 days after I dropped it off. The part still isn’t there, but apparently now it’s back ordered. Funny… I thought the post office«lost» it. I was told it would show up Wednesday and would be ready then. I told him I think I just want to pick it up and get my money back, but now all of a sudden there’s a «special order» policy and no refunds. Refund on what? You never did anything except lie to me! So I’ll be heading there tomorrow for answers. I’m either getting my money back„ getting a guarantee that it will be ready THISWEEK, or speaking to the owner, better business bureau, wiregrass mall manager, and anyone else I can. I’m ready to just take the broken ipod back and take them to small claims court over my $ 190 just put of principle. I’ll be posting this review on every site I kind find. DONTGOHERE.

I would not recommend this store to dust off the screen of a phone or tablet much less attempt to repair it. If I could give less than 1 star, I would. We took an iPad 3 to iFix on December 20th to have a broken screen replaced. We called later that evening and went to pick it up after they said it was complete. We tested the iPad while at the store in front of Tyler, an iFix employee, and the power button wouldn’t work, the magnetic closure to put the iPad to sleep wouldn’t work, and you couldn’t lock/unlock the iPad. They also scratched the body of the iPad around the edges when they replaced the screen. Tyler made a note of the issues and agreed we could bring the iPad back for repair after the Christmas holiday. While we had it, the screen detached from the iPad body. We took it back to iFix on or about January 9th. We had to swipe(erase all content) off the iPad for them to repair it, so we had to buy a new one to replace this one in the interim. We have received NO communication from anyone with iFix since that time unless we’ve called for a status. We have called numerous times to speak with the manager, David and Tyler the original employee dealing with us on this. Each time it’s the same story… they’re working on it and since that time, David is no longer with them. I emailed all of the contacts on the Corporate iFix website and never received a response. The employee we were dealing with, Tyler, can’t tell us anything and he said the district manager was now handling our case. Amber Wells, the District Manager with iFix, and they would not agree to refund the $ 196.19 we paid for the screen replacement and she said they can’t repair it. I filed a Better Business Bureau complaint in March and iFix never responded to it. The leasing manager, Rhonda Clark, at Wiregrass Commons Mall has attempted to get this resolved with the owner but has not been successful. Apparently there are other customers who have complained to the mall management because iFix won’t stand behind their work, lack of work, or whatever you wish to call their shoddy attempt at service. It is May 21, 2014 and they STILL have my iPad. Nearly 6 months later and nothing from them… no attempt at resolution at all. At the very minimum, they should refund what I paid for the repair. Unfortunately now, I have no confidence that the iPad will ever work the same even if someone else replaces the screen. PLEASE don’t make the mistake of taking any devices to this store. 1÷7÷15 Update @ the request of Tyler from iFix who stated that I’ve continually bashed this business. That is absolutely not the case and everything I’ve stated above is the truth and I have all of the documentation to prove it. On September 17, 2014 I filed a Statement of Claim with Small Claims Court in Houston County, Alabama. I received an email from Chris Kelley, Owner of iFix, on September 29 in response to the Small Claims Court claim that was served at his business. His email was attached to a reply to my email from February 12, 2014 in which I was begging anyone to respond in an effort to get this situation resolved. The case was dismissed on October 7, 2014 at my request because we settled out of court. iFix reimbursed me $ 1,030.10, for the price of a new iPad, court filing fees, and the amount we paid for repair…9 almost 10MONTHS after I took the iPad to them. I stand by my rating of this business and would not recommend anyone conduct business with them for the simple reason that you can’t depend on them to promptly address any issues or escalate them to the appropriate management entities if the store is unable to resolve them. While the situation was eventually resolved, it absolutely should NOT have required legal involvement, which was a last resort. Excuses were given such as transitioning of management and lack of communication but it is inexcusable that it took 9 months and small claims court to get the situation resolved.

I had a screen replacement the local Dothan, AL store. The LCD worked perfectly fine when I brought it in, just the glass had shattered. The first time the guy fixed it, he accidentally pulled the screen up when putting my case back on so he used another sheet of adhesive to glue it back down. It created a dead(non responsive) spot on the screen and touch/swipe would not work. I took it back(oh yeah, I live 25+ mi away…) and he re-did it. It worked a little better for a couple days but I noticed that the middle of the screen was touching too closely and distorting the LCD. When i tried to text, it would think I was holding that spot down. The outside edges are usually dead spots. Texting, swiping, scrolling are a complete nightmare. So, I went back a THIRD time. Now I am informed that everyone but the manager has been fired. The manager says he couldn’t fix it because he didn’t know what type of glue the repair guy used. He text, called, and emailed they guy(of course who didn’t answer because he had been fired). So the manager sent an email to his manager. This was on March 15. I have not heard anything from the store all week. If anything, I just want a refund so I can actually take it someone who can get it fixed! I don’t mind paying for the part itself(which is $ 17 on their site) but I’m not paying over $ 100 for something they messed up and then have to pay someone else just as much to fix their mistake!
