Red Lobster

Joy was awesome! Nice fast and tasty. Every thing was great so no complaints. We had the tilapia and lobster.

Me and hubby came here valentines night the hostess were very pleasant but our server was absolutely not. We started off with drinks and an appetizer (stuffed mushrooms) we did not receive our drinks until our appetizer came out and we went handed any silverware or napkins so we had to eat with our hands until we were finally able to track another waitress down who was happy to get them for us, I did make several attempts to flag our own waitress down and either she didn’t see or hear me because she was not being attentive to our table or was just plain ignoring us. The food was delicious when it did come out. When I requested our check the bill was around 78.60 and my hubby paid with a 100 $ bill she returned with 11 $ and no receipt. Because we’re not stupid we realized she shorted us money so we called her back over and brought it to her attention she then stated our meal was around 78 $ which I said was true but u still owe us more than 11 $ because even if our meal was 80 $ we should still get 20 $ back so she looked at us crazy for a moment then picked up the 11 $ and gave us a 20 $ and said «is this okay»? But we still had no receipt on what our exact total was so we asked her for the receipt and she told us she threw it away! It makes no sense to throw away someone’s proof of purchase without them requesting it so we asked for a copy and she hesitated and said she could try she then bought back a copy of the bill still no receipt to show what we actually paid when hubby pointed this out she claimed it was the receipt so we went to the front and spoke with a manager and explained what happened she told us she could pull our ticket up on the computer and then came back and told us our order wasn’t cashed out yet that’s why we had no receipt like it wasn’t a big deal. She did offer to get our 1.30 we were still owed from the waitress but did not offer to get our proof of purchase. I feel like they are scamming people so watch out for this we will be calling their office about this matter!

Hate to say it but this place needs help. We had a to go order. They said would be ready in 15 minutes. I got there maybe 20 mnts or more. Had to wait another 20 minutes. Place was not busy!!! Coconut shrimp was overdone. Shrimp Alfredo was overcooked. Shrimp was out of a bag– rubbery. They better be glad I was not eating in– would not have paid for anything. Gave 2 stars because at least the wait staff were nice.

Great place with wonderful staff! My dad recently passed & this was one of his favorite places to go. The staff treated us with such consideration & remembered who we were. The food was great & the people were too.

The night started out sketchy because I called two hours before we went so I could reserve a take for 8. I arrived half an early and they told me they were getting two booths ready for us. That’s a negative. Who wants to separate a party??? The eventually fixed this situation quickly.
My son’s 18^th birthday dinner went great. All the food was perfect. No one complained. Our waiter, Kelly, was Johnny on on the spot. Highly recommend this location.

We were pleasantly surprised! I really didn’t want to go to Red Lobster bc last time we were at this location a few years ago it wasn’t good. But the food was really good this time. Definitely try the gumbo. The mixed drinks were also good, and of course those biscuits! We had a really cool waiter also.

Not my choice for dinner but I’m a sucker for shrimp and lobster. Service was great and the food is like all other RLs. Packed house says something. Try the Ultimate Feast, you can’t go wrong during lobsterfest.

The best Red Lobster I have been too in a long time. All of this thanks to the outstanding service that was provided by James S. Not sure how it would have been if anyone else had waited on us. Food was a bit slow, but James made it worthwhile to wait, and the 30 shrimp for $ 11.99 was a great deal that provided great food.

My Son took me to the Dothan, AL Red Lobster for Mother’s Day. The employees were wonderful especially our waitress Red. The food was on the whole pretty good until my son got to his crab. When my son pulled his crab leggs apart most of it had no meat and the parts that did have meat came out so dry that dust like particles flew out of them when he pulled them apart. They were so dry he just put the rest on a side plate and didn’t get to eat any more crabmeat. I feel that was a big waste of my Son’s hard earned Military money. I had a great time because my Son took me and the Employees were great. The lamps above the tables constantly literally basically pored out dust into the air over our food. It was disgusting, I kept wantinng to cover my drink and food to no avail.

Roaches!

I’ve gone three times hoping it would get better and up to par with other red Lobsters. This one is not worth the price at all. Everything, from the salad dressing to the cheddar biscuits (how do you eff up those??), to the actual entrees is so lackluster. I know we aren’t next to coast but someone definitely froze and thawed out my crab wrong. It was gross. The shrimp was eh. Pilaf was gross.
And every single waitress and hostess I have seen has the personality of cardboard.

This location is starting to show its age and is in need of a spruce-​up. Otherwise the food is consistant with other Red Lobster restaurants.
