Spa Novus

Went for an hour deep tissue massage and am glad I didn’t buy the package before trying the place. Worst massage ever, total waste of an hour and $ 100.00. When the lady with short blonde hair asked how it was and I told her, she actually laughed, kinda like she knew the therapist sucked. As for the massage… very light in pressure even after repeated request for more pressure and how a person misses every major and minor muscle groups and tension areas is beyond me. No feet, no hands, no neck at all and pretty much skimmed over lower back! DO NOT WASTE TIME AND MONEY!

My previous experience was brought to the manager’s attention and she contacted me within two days of posting the review on Unilocal.She was very kind and apologized profusely for my experience. She asked me to come back for a facial, which I did yesterday. I’ve had several different facials at different spas which I always enjoyed, however this was by far the best one! Not only did I feel pampered in the spa’s luxurious environment and during the facial, it left my skin looking and feeling incredible. My daughter told me I look like a different person! I feel like it took years off my face. I had a microdermabrasion treatment and my skin is very sensitive. In fact I didn’t think I could have facials any more. However, Tammy has changed my mind. She is so knowledgeable and I felt extremely comfortable with her recommendations and expertise. My skin is still glowing. I don’t have any irritation or redness as I expected due to my skin’s extreme sensitivity. I cannot wait to go back and take my daughter! I also have plans to try different spa treatments with various staff.
My advice is this, if you have an issue anywhere, ask to speak to a manager. Even if they are not as wonderful as Spa Novus’ manager, they will be aware of the situation.
