Water World

Oh boy, this review has been festering for at least two years now. The establishment known as Water World is the bane of my existence, my arch nemesis that truly wants to watch me fail. This place is an open hazard, with fecal matter in the water, searing hot sidewalks that cause 2^nd degree burns, and a rough surface on the triple slides that snags skin and rips it clean off. Also, just look at the main attraction! That slide, the «Great White,» has the potential, as it has proven before in a tragic accident, to fling people off of the top and over the parking lot. The incident was a terrible situation, as it ended with two park goers falling down to the asphalt and splatting like insects. Anyways, you should also imagine how many people have contracted E. coli from the water of Water World. To wrap this review up, I’ll share a little remix that I co-​created with a friend of mine of the classic Water World song. Enjoy.

Definitely recommend the Platinum season pass. We had already gotten our $ worth in the 2^nd weekend of them opening. You get a pic ID for every family member with the season pass. We like to go towards the end of the day about 2 – 3 hours of them closing so the crowd is mostly gone. My 2 year old loves the wave pool since it is zero depth entry, she can sit in just an inch of water and loves it! Then there are 2 water slides, great for kids, nothing fast or scary. The kiddie pool has 2 mini slides, a waterfall mushroom, and beach balls for fun. Then there is the Great White that is like a half pipe water slide. You can bring your own cooler in with food and drinks, which makes for a great picnic or party.

We had a BLAST at Water World in Dothan! The only thing I missed was having more shade. There was also a large group of children brought by buses the day we went (a couple hundred extra kids) which made the wave pool a bit crowded, but it was still a fun day.
