Econo Lodge

My husband and I endured a horrible stay at the Econolodge in Douglassville PA. We had booked two nights at the Econolodge and paid in advance for our room.
During our first night, the front desk clerk proceeded to wake us from appropriately 11:30 pm until about 5:30 am with several phone calls. In each call, he demanded that we owed money and must immediately pay him the money. Although we explained that we had paid for our room in full, he continuously called waking us all through the night. At one point, he wanted me to leave our room and walk to the lobby in pitch dark to pay him cash. We are in our fifties and had never experienced anything like this before in our travels.
The following day, management offered us such a measly discount if we wanted to stay and pay for an additional night. This was after they acknowledged that we did not owe them anything and that their employee did «have issues». We declined their cheap offer and continued our trip with another property where we could get some peace and quiet.
