Store is very clean and staff always so helpful and friendly. Prices are always higher at this store as compared to other stores in the area, but unlike CVS douglaston, you can actually find a parking spot and not have to wait 5 – 10 mins for a spot.

My family frequent this drug store due to its proximity with my parents home in Douglaston. Has the usual stuff in a Duane Reade, or CVS. Not too crowded or busy, but what sets this place apart is the pharmacist Maria, and the staff. Very polite and helpful, and knows us by name. Parking on the side and the back. Due to the crazy weather we’ve been having, their main entrance to the parking lot has the largest pothole in history… I’ve seen Smart Cars sucked into it!

This pharmacy failed again ! I took my prescription to them on Last Friday 01÷23÷15. They told me they don’t have it in stock and have to order it. It will come on next Monday 01÷26÷15. On Monday We have a snow storm. so, I went to pick it up on Sunday 02÷01÷15. Which is 9 days after I drop the prescription off. Guest what! The lady told me that they didn’t order it for me. At that time, I just asked her to give my prescription back and walked away. How can a pharmacy so careless and so unresponsible!!! I hope the corporation is reading this and train the staff better!!!

Customer service was cool. However price is outrageous !! Came here for a bottle of stool softener– it’s a whopping 19.99 for 60 count! hELlO? The same stuff for 100 count is selling for 6.99. Cost is about 3 dollars. Come on now !

The Pharmacy is so rude!!! They need to work on their customer service skills! Take your business elsewhere!

Killing time waiting for my food to be packed up and ready to go from down the street, I spent it walking up and down aisles looking for absolutely nothing and I have to say I have never seen a Duane Reade with such pleasant staff.

Co-sign with what KC said. The main store is acceptable, I suppose(they have good greeting cards), but the pharmacy department is in a sorry state of disarray. I’ve been charged for medications I shouldn’t have been charged for, forced to wait 30 minutes only to be told«Oh…yeah. Sorry, we can’t give you this medication because it hasn’t been 30 days since you last filled it out yet». They also seem to be out of stock a lot. Overall, most of the people working in the pharm department don’t seem to know what they’re doing. I haven’t been given the wrong meds(yet), but definitely keep your eyes open before, during and after they ring you up to make sure they don’t make a mistake.

This place is a hot mess. No one in the Pharmacy knows what they are doing. It is scary to see these people handle our prescriptions. Make sure you have the correct prescription before you leave.

A very complete drug store. Always has been open, whenever I go early or late, and has a complete pharmacy, card aisle, everything. I think places like this are kind of fun to just roam around and get shit at discount prices, but maybe that just makes me a huge loser. You could always get cheap drinks, junk food, etc. And all those things that just kind of come up, like contact fluid and other semi-necessities. A good shop to have around, no doubt.
