Joey’s Bar & Grill D’ville

Visited on Sunday night (last night) for some drinks since we couldn’t buy anything from the gas station at the time. Gotta love that county law! So anywho, we drive by joeys and figured we might as well stop in for some drinks since it’s the only place open and we had never tried it before. The girl behind the bar seemed nice, although it ticked her off that we came in at 9:50 when they close at 12. (Really tho, we just came to have drinks) She gave alright service but not once did she smile and had resting you know what face the whole time. She also made the comment that“I’m really just waiting for y’all to leave” when asked what time they closed. At about 12, some random guy from the kitchen (cook or dishwasher??)started yelling hurry up we are closing finish your drinks. Well I’m sorry, I didn’t know that 12 meant you kicked paying customers out even if they are still finishing their drinks. I told him he was in the wrong business If he thought that closing time meant actual leaving time for everyone, but he decided to argue with me that he was tired and wanted to go home so we needed to hurry up? WTF!
Then Joey (guessing the owner) comes out and tells everyone to get out that his bartenders won’t kick them Out but that he will, although I could tell he was joking and meant well, I wasn’t happy after all the other comments from
The staff already. So unprofessional! Then while turned around for 5 seconds saying goodbye to a friend I saw there, the bartender throws my drink away that was ¾ full and 7 fuc**ng dollars! I will never go back, this place is a joke!

Whatever is going on with the food needs to STOP.
Yeah. The prices are great. Until you realize that the food has been changed and it’s HORRIBLE now. No more big delicious fries. now it’s a small helping of crappy, soggy thin fries. Like the burger? Well. It’s been changed too.
The only decent thing left is the wings (although the last time I was there they we’re overcooked until they were dry)
If you need a cold beer that’s cheap. Hit up Joeys. But if you’re hungry. There are much better options for bar food.

Always friendly staff, great food and special prices on food and beer ! They have karaōke and bands. LOVE THIS BAR!

Excellent food specials, cannot and will not be beat, all new management and ownership, as well as staff and entertainment, quickly becoming the hottest spot for all things entertainment west of Atlanta
