I absolutely have to have lunch here on my off days. Great food and my server always has to be Edwon. He is absolutely wonderful, nice and makes my experience perfect! !

I have never felt the need to review a chain restaurant before, but this is an exception. I have been going to this location for many, many years. On all but rare occasions I have left happy. Of course, we all have our days. But, lately, something has changed majorly! The last 3 visits have been a joke. I am not kidding here. This place has gone downhill unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Every single thing about this place has fallen to an unacceptable level for me. If there has been new staff or a new manager placed in the past few months. they aren’t working out well at all.

Go elsewhere. We have been to this location several times but, it keeps getting worse. Went there for anniversary dinner, arrived an hour before close. There were only 5 customers so, not busy. Server, Amene, brought drink and then disappeared for 20 minutes. We had to ask another server who was sweeping up to go get him to place our order. He brought no bread to the table and brought salad on a DIRTYPLATE with dried food on the top and bottom of the plate. We finally received our food at 10:05pm an hour after we arrived! He forgot to bring the dipping sauce for shrimp and brought the bread with the meal instead of customary at the beginning. Asked for Manager, she was basically unapologetic about the dirty plates, delay in food service and forgetful, disappearing server. If you go and get Amene as your server, ask for another server as he seems to be more interested in socializing with co-workers than servicing his customers.

Convenient place to eat lunch, the wait is not as bad as most places on Sunday afternoon. The food was decent. I had the fish taco, which was not bad. The fried onions was good and the presentation of it was different. The service was decent, I’ve had better.

Not a huge fan of Outback but my date wanted the wood fire grilled steak. The blooming onion was very salty. I did not like the wood fire grilled steak but a little A1 will fix that. The bread is good nothing special but good. The blue cheese wedge salad was kind of sweet but ok. They have Jim Beam red stag so I am a happy girl. Excellent service at the bar!

The outback brand is one of our favorites. We’ve eaten at many different locations all over the U.S. This is our local outback and our most frequently visited location. The food is always cooked just right and we’ve never gotten poor service from any of our servers. Wait times should always be expected at a great restaurant. We never mind when we have to wait to be seated.

I had the Victoria’s Filet Mignon(wonderful) and a sweet potato with butter and brown sugar(outstanding). The salad(blue cheese) was very good. The bread was fine. The service was super. A really good experience all around.

First the positive experience about this restaurant. Our waiter took our order very shortly after we were seated. He was very pleasant and friendly and seemed to genuinely want to make sure we were happy with the service we received. All the food we ate was very well made, apart from the salad but I will address that shortly. The French Onion soup was excellent and our meals were all well presented and satisfying. Now for the negatives. My wife and step daughter both ordered a salad, as an appetizer. My step daughter’s salad had a moldy tomato in it and they left the core of the lettuce in my wife’s salad. We asked our waiter for a refill on our water and it took him three attempts to get back and refill our water. My step daughter asked for the cilantro to be put on the side of her plate but the still put it on her tacos. The meal I ordered had to be remade, as they said the first time they made it, that it was not satisfactory but at least they did catch it. Over all, the negatives I pointed out were rather minor and really did not impact our enjoyment of our meal and hence why I still gave them 4 out of 5 stars.

We never seem to have a good experience at any outback we go to. The service is slow, the food is eh and the everything is overpriced. Wasn’t thrilled with the service, nothing worse than sitting with an empty drink a long time.

I see a lot of reviews complaining about long waits for a server once seated. Amazingly, that has been my experience at nearly every visit. I would say I’ve waited longer than 5 minutes to be acknowledged almost every visit. Not acceptable. I like Outback a lot so I go there a handful of times each year. The food is always good and the drinks are ample and reasonable at every location including this one It is the service that ruins this location. I don’t know if it is the working conditions or management or what, but they can’t keep a decent wait staff there. I’ve been maybe 10 – 12 times and it seems like every time I visit, I get a server in his first week on the job. It’s a shame because the Outback brand deserves better and so do its customers in Douglasville.

Outback is my mom’s favorite restaurant, so when she decided to plan a family dinner with all the kids and grandkids, this location is the one she chose because we’ve eaten there before and always had a great time. We wanted to eat early, so we got there a little after 4pm. We were told the wait would be about 25 minutes. Now, I realize the restaurant can’t force people to leave a table, but it seems like they could have offered us a seat in the bar, or a drink, or something after the first hour of waiting. They did finally bring two glasses of water — for a party of 5. An hour and s half after we arrived, we were finally seated. Then we waited 10 more minutes before my sister finally asked if there was a server assigned to our table. The hostess said there was, and went to get our server after explaining that they were«changing things around, which created some confusion.» Shortly after that, our would-be server, well within hearing distance of our table, looked at us and said, «I have to serve THEM?» as if that were the worst thing that could happen to her. At that point, we were done. My sister asked for a manager, who happened to be standing right behind us. We told her what happened and that we were leaving. She just kept insisting that we didn’t hear what we know we heard the server say, and that she would get us taken care of right away, but we weren’t interested at that point. Instead, we went down the road to MoMoYa Steakhouse, where we enjoyed a lovely meal with flawless service. Too bad, so sad for the Outback server — we spent $ 160 at the hibachi joint and left a $ 40 tip. And we will never return to the Douglasville Outback.

Worked here for a short time. Found out that if customers call ahead, and when they showed up that their wait time would be cut in half. Thought that was a pretty good idea. Decided to do that on my off day. Got told my estimated wait was 30 mins, ended up waiting longer than that and I just left. Tip: ask for plastic ware when eating there! Or ask for boiling water in a cup so you can clean the silverware yourself

Place is always packed for dinner which amazes me. With the variety of restaurants around d-ville why would you go here? Must be the bloomin’ onion. It’s nearly the worst thing you can put in your body second only to the aussie cheese fries(also at outback) but it sure tastes good. That’s unfortunately where the good stops. Steaks are not worth the money and the service is pretty average. We get a gift card from my uncle every Christmas and once a year is plenty…

I was a part of a group of 8, at one table. Waitress was good, and got the assistance of others to help. Problem #1: Ordered salad with RANCH dressing. All salads came except mine! They said they were making the dressing. OK, I accepted that. They then brought just the salad.15 minutes later, still no dressing!. I asked again, and they were making it! Then someone came and asked if I would like to change to a different dressing. I picked a different one. Just when the main course was coming, I finally got the ranch AND my second choice! Problem #2: My salad and all the others included a description which was«, chives…». But what we got were chopped green onions! When we said something to the waitress, the manager came over and apologized that they were out of chives, and substituted the green onions. Huh? Luckily no one was allergic to green onions! I had ordered the 10 oz Rib-eye, and it was cooked correctly and was tasty and flavorful(I chose the CLASSIC method!) . I had a backed potato and it was done well. I had iced tea, and it was kept refilled,

Went to this place last night, I actually think I reviewed them sometime back and gave them a much better review. The primary reason for the low rating is quality and honestly. When three people are sitting at a table, they all order the exact same steak, the table should not receive three different cuts of meat. Ordered 38oz filets, got on filet, one sirloin and one, I think, round steak. When asked why the steaks were so different the staff stated that we ordered them cooked to different temps. LOL Really, guess they think everyone who comes in the door is stupid. BTW, for this location Medium = Rare, Medium Well = Rare(Sirloin), Medium Well = Burnt to a crisp(Round steak cut)

Wood fired salmon is great. BBQ ribs on the kids menu– thank you to whoever approved that at Outback HQ. Joseph needs to train all servers. He did an excellent job of removing dirty dishes, bringing food promptly, not hovering, and was very polite.

I am admittedly a snob when it comes to chain restaurants. However, since moving to the ‘burbs I find myself eating at them more and more. Recently, my mom and I stopped into Outback. I hadn’t eaten there in literally about ten years so I was game to try something new. We started with a bottle of the house wine. For $ 19 we got a decent bottle of wine. I wanted to try the bloomin onion because that is their signature appetizer. It was good but a little salty. It was also huge and even us two greedy gals couldn’t put a dent in it. For my entrée I had the baby back ribs. They were really good. Fell away from the bone with ease and sauce was good too. I got the half rack and that was more than enough after drinks, apps, bread(yum) and trying some of my mom’s salad. At the end of the meal with an appetizer, bottle of wine, two entrees and a kid’s meal, our total was $ 65(!!!). You can’t beat that with a bat! In fact, our meal was so good… we ate there again the very next night. Hey, there aren’t a lot of options in D’ville and we wanted a sure-thing so we went back the next night. This time we tried the coconut shrimp. It was very good. Big shrimp and lots of coconut. I also tried the ‘rita trio. It was cute and they were tasty, but next time I’d just go for a full-sized drink. I got the ribs again and this time so did my mom. They were still yum. Outback is definitely getting added to the list of chain restaurants I will happily visit.
