My stay here was a very short one as I was just in town to run the Monster Mash Marathon over at the nearby Dover International Speedway. The location was convenient with a McDonald’s next door if you need something quick to eat. The nightly rate was also pretty affordable. I found that the room, bed, restroom, floor, and towels were all clean. The room also came with a microwave oven and a fridge. So for a one-nighter, this was definitely a satisfactory place. However don’t expect anything fancy or luxurious.

I’ve never stayed in this hotel so it was a first and definitely a last for me. I’m in the Air Force Reserve and I forgot to book my hotel early on for my monthly UTA and this was the only one available. The bedroom smelled awful and the bathroom was pretty filthy. I slept on top of my towels that I brought from home. I saw some hair in the bathtub that wasn’t cleaned out and the bathroom door is supposed to be white but it looked like the people who stayed in there smoked indoors, making it a yellowish color instead. There are no smoking signs everywhere and they were on each door but you still smell cigarettes everywhere because no one in there really cared or followed instructions, and if you complained to the staffs it wouldn’t make a difference. The smell of cigarettes came in through the vents, and the entire hallway smelled of cigarettes. One morning on my way to work it smelled like marijuana. No one was at the front desk so I spoke to the first staff member I saw who happened to be the cleaning lady and told her that one of the room reeks of marijuana and that you can smell it all over the hallway and she agreed and was so nonchalant about it, stating that they already spoke to the owner about it and that they can’t do anything about it because its the tenants personal space. It was pretty shocking, and disgusting. I didn’t feel safe in this hotel at all. I learned my lesson for sure. This is why you don’t book your hotels last minute for your UTA, because you’ll end up with the worst of the worst hotel. I don’t wish this hotel upon anybody. A shop member of mine stayed here before me once also and talked about how disgusting the place was and how he had some of his things stolen. Doesn’t surprise me one bit. I don’t even give this a one star on ratings. I just selected that one star because it wouldn’t let me continue without selecting at least one on here.

I was on my way to Ocean City and thought I’d spend the night here. My family and I got two rooms for a fairly good price on the phone but as soon as we got to the parking lot I knew why! Very small, in a gas station parking lot and a little on the ghetto side. We checked out the rooms and found them to be outdated but clean so decided to spend the night. The pool was actually a nice swim for my brothers and the staff was very accommodating when we asked to swim after hours. Breakfast was standard waffles, yogurts, cereals, scrambled eggs and breads/bakery items. Overall I wouldnt stay here again but would like to acknowledge the kind staff and clean rooms.

Great location that is minutes from Dover Air Force base, the casino, racetrack and eateries like Buffalo Wild Wings. This is a two-story hotel. No elevator and the gym is really a minimum gym but the breakfast is pretty good, the rooms are spacious and real clean and the bathrooms look new! I bid $ 50 and got this hotel and I can tell you I feel like we got a real bargain. There are fast food places next door Popeyes) and it is near the highway. If you can get this place for around $ 50 you will feel like you got a great deal.
