An excellent eating establishment. If your traveling in the Dover Ohio area this place is a must. The food quality is outstanding. We recommend a visit here for anyone.

Stopped in today for take out and ordered two of their sandwiches that the cashier said were the most popular. One was BBQ pulled pork and it was pretty good but the bun was amazing. The other was a smoked turkey and we couldn’t finish it because the meat was so dry. I’d ordered a side of coleslaw but they gave us tomato soup instead, which I couldn’t eat. Four stars overall is because of the quality of the bread.

Five months ago, I got the Cheesewood Mac when I passed through town. I still haven’t forgotten it ~ so I had to stop again. So yummy and perfect for a chilly October day! Please try it, but leave some for me.

Completely new place for me. Found it via Unilocal.
Friendly staff with excellent knowledge of the menu. Based on their suggestion, I tried the Monte Python and it was fantastic! Splashed it down with an iced, caramel latte. Used the 25% off coupon via Unilocal app and am thrilled to have found a new favorite hangout in the Dover area. Cozy spot!

We found this place using the Unilocal app while driving to the airport. WOW! What a find. It was super clean, the staff incredibly helpful and courteous and the food was DELICIOUS! I had the Shroom burger (marinated and grilled portobella) and a side of awesome slaw– and it truly was. We had vegetarians and meat eaters in our party and everyone was happy. Their homemade bread is delicious and I was too full to eat my macaroon– but got one to go! Although, I don’t live near this restaurant I will absolutely come again the next time I am in this corner of Ohio.

Excellent place! One of my favorite places in Tuscarawas county. Not the typical Amish baked goods here. From their Hippie bread, scones, and cannoli to their Buckeyes, sandwiches & hand fuzed teas, they have a great variety! They also have local entertainment on occasion as well as some hands on events. That coupled with the unique atmosphere makes this worth the stop.

We stopped here on our way through town. I had a coffee and spinach feta puff pastry. The puff pastry could have been fresher. However, the lady behind counter was very friendly and accompanying.

Nice place. Light-​hearted, genuinely funny humor peppered throughout the place. The wrap and muffin I had were solidly good. Coffee was solid. Prices were reasonable.

After reading about this in «Foodies» I thought I would give it a try.
I tried a scone and coffee.
The scone was excellent, however it was different than the traditional scones I am familiar with. This was more layered like a biscuit, but it had a wonderful flavor.
The coffee I had was not very good. At 3.99 I thought it was rather expensive, and it was very bitter.
The girl behind the counter was great! She was extremely friendly and nice. This location has excellent customer service.

Is a place I would associate with Ithaca, NY or a similar college town — but in the middle of sleepy-​town down-​home Ohio; best of both worlds.

This is my favorite place in the entire world. Killer lunch deals and the best bread in the entire state of Ohio. Also love the variety of baked goods and specialty items available. I ordered a custom cheesecake for my birthday last year and it was absolutely amazing. They brew great coffee, too. Yum.
You won’t find any ingredient you can’t pronounce or anything artificial, including the personalities of the people who work there. Jason and Gabe are possibly the coolest small-​business owners ever. Sadly, I no longer live in the area but make sure to stop in the bakery every time I’m in town. (Also, best cinnamon rolls. Ever. EVER.)

This is the type of place one would expect to find in San Francisco, not the sleepy little town of my birth– Dover, Ohio. The bread is wholesome and fresh-​baked, the muffins are killer, and the cheesecake (oh the cheesecake) is ecstasy-​producing, prepared in the proper way (without a crust!) and probably should have some kind of disclaimer attached about driving under its influence. Their espresso drinks are delightful and I am as persnickety about espresso as Martha Stewart is about keeping her doilies dusted. Everything is fresh and you will not find a speck of partially hydrogenated oil or «non-​food» fillers on the menu. The atmosphere is nothing shy of groovy. I can only hope that Bread Head is not *too* cool for Tuscarawas County. Awesome people within a hundred mile radius should feel ashamed if they haven’t visited yet.
