Horrible sound system and poor lighting. The owners use this place as a hangout for their friends and could care less about the people actually paying to be in their establishment. I would suggest taking the $ 5-​$ 10 cover you were going to pay to another bar, that will buy you a drink!

Good luck having any fun in this place if you haven’t been there a million times… if you“re an outsider… you’ll be treated as such.
If you’re an individual … forget it. they will attempt to crush your spirit or kick you the fuck out, or both
I got kicked out of this place, and I’m proud as hell to say I did. Unfortunately… I committed the offense of using the dance floor to dance.
If you’re an individual… if you like to dance to good music (and this place has GREAT music) in your own way,… if you”re a free spirit… Avoid this place at all costs. It’s full of assholes
Here are the positives. Beer — Good. Service — okay (Even better if you’re one of the locals)
Your milage may vary but in my opinion, after giving this place several tries… it SUCKS.
If you’re in town for NASCAR … Well, you’re not gonna find another backwards ass country bar in town other than this… and it’s likely right up you’re alley… but just remember that these pricks are cliquey bastards and they are just out for your money. Hopefully you’ll join my «Kicked out of this shit hole» hall of fame.

Great atmosphere, staff, and beer selection! Cowboy Up is the place for line dancing and entertainment in the Dover AFB area! We went there while home on leave and had a great time, make sure to go after 7 or 8 so there will be plenty of people and dancing.
