I’ve only ever had the milkshakes here and they were amazing! Both times I ordered a small shake and both times I asked them if they gave me a large by mistake. Softies doesn’t mess around! Not only do you get your money’s worth, but they taste delicious! Rich, creamy and lots of flavors to choose from. Personally I go with Butterscotch because I just don’t see it around much any more.

How can anyone in Dover not love Softies? This has been a staple of my summer for decades and decades! The sign may change, the people may change, but it always remains a great place to go.
I’ve never been one to stay and sit at the picnic tables much, as they seem a little dark, dreary, and out of the way. I’m usually the one that makes a pit stop while taking a summer stroll… tempted by the delicious turtle sundae, the vanilla cone dipped in cherry or the pineapple shake. Delicious.
Softies offers our typical diner/​dairy queen food too which isn’t that bad, but not the reason I stop by.
