This is a cool little local grocery store! We stopped here to grab lunch. The lobster on sale here are Huge! Picked up a reuben sandwich. The corn beef tastes great!

Some of, if not, the best deli sandwiches and wraps in the Dover/Somersworth area. Fresh produce and other grocery goods abound, but I think the deli is the best kept secret.

My secret lunch spot. You can get a custom made sandwich for cheap every day of the week. Cheesecakes slices are insanely good. Grab a Terra Cotta buffalo chicken mac and cheese from the freezer before you leave.

First off, food here is delicious, local and affordable. Definitely will make it back. The $ 5 sandwich and drink combo is a steal, but unfortunately the woman behind the deli gave the worst costumer service I’ve ever received. She was visibly and audibly annoyed when ordering a couple sandwiches. There was hardly anyone in the store and it took less than ten minutes for the whole transaction. Worst ten minutes I’ve ever experienced. I couldn’t believe how rushed and patronized I felt during the whole experience. Luckily the cashier was delightful and the sandwiches are fantastic. I guess thats the price you pay for such a great deal.

Bought marinated tuna, and some produce. It was exceptional, so impressed we went back the next night bought two steaks and some U8 raw shrimp. OMG if your a cook and I am you would have spent over 150.00 at a quality restaurant for a meal of this caliber. This meal coast 50.00 and it was cooked exactly to perfection. My daughter who lives in the area took us there, I would give anything to have something like this where we live.

This is a great little place for produce, meats, specialty cheeses and seafood. Their bakery is lacking, the few times I’ve purchased anything from the bakery, it tasted old, like it had been sitting in the case for a few days. The Meat House had the best steak tips but they’re not there anymore, it’s a new company and their steak tips aren’t as flavorful but they’re still good. If you buy produce from here, know that it’s on its last leg and needs to be used within a day or two, that’s why it’s so cheap. They also carry some things that I can’t find anywhere else, some things are cheap, others are a bit too pricey. There’s also a great selection of wines and specialty beers to meet anyone’s taste.

I used to love getting sandwiches at their deli, until last night when I got food poisoning from them. Never again.

We loved Fiddleheads! Came across it by chance driving by. Great little market with the freshest and best produce and fruit. The prices were way better than my local farmers market in the Hudson Valley of NY. And I live amid hundreds of farms!

Do not buy meat from this place. Goto the supermarket and marinate it yourself. It is not worth the $$$$

I love stopping in here for produce on my way home from work. It is normally fresh and relatively cheap. The fish is normally good as well. You can get some really great meat but it is pretty pricey. Their cinnamon buns are really good; I haven’t tried any of the other bakery items. Overall, I really like this place as they have a great variety of grocery items.

Great produce 95% of the time. I can usually walk out with salad fixings for two weeks of lunches for under $ 20. Specialty meats etc. are a bit out of my price range but I would recommend buying your produce here if you shop in the area — fresher selection, better selection and its a local business not a chain store. Friendly staff. I dislike the setup but other than that great place.

The store is well-designed and has a lot of great selections for such a small space. The staff is very nice and friendly. However, I bought a pastry and it really wasn’t very good. It was dry, tasteless, and I found a hair baked in it. I’d like to give this place another chance, but I live a bit too far away to bother, especially after having to throw out half a $ 3 pastry.

I come to Fiddleheads semi regulary, the deli counter is great. The Pulled Buffalo/BBQ chicken and the meatballs of the same names are great. The prices are very good, and this speaks true to their hot sandwiches, which are also great. I can’t recommend Fiddleheads enough.

Still have the sandwich special and the staff here is absolutely great. Reasonable prices and great products. Lobsters were fresh off a boat in Kittery and were available for $ 6.50 per pound steamed. Stay away from the crab cake sandwich. Roast beef is excellent.

Amazing deals on some things– others are a bit too pricey. On the whole, though, I love this store and visit every couple of weeks or so. Their deli meats cannot be beat, and they make a great(and cheap) sandwich lunch combo. Lots of stuff you can’t find anywhere else, too.

A little bit more expensive then I’d like but great place, good selections of foods, snacks and meats. Been a local business now for over ten plus years. I’ve yet to try out their wine samplings but I am looking forward to it. Friendly staff too!

Best fruits and veggies around and the prices can’t be beat! Also had the Shane’s of Maine ice cream, coffee cookies and cream… amazing!

Review for the Shaker pond ice cream attached to fiddleheads: I was disappointed in their ice cream. We ordered the coffee cookie(which was fine) and the cookies and cream(not so good). Cookies and cream is vanilla based and the vanilla flavor is very artificial. The waffle cones were stale and flavorless. A very limited selection of flavors as well. Up side: serving size was generous(I can only speak for the waffle cones) and service was fine, but I won’t be returning.

Were out for a drive in our Shelby Mustang and happened upon Fiddleheads Market in Dover NH!!! Thought we’d check it out and glad we did. Great place… Produce, meats, fish, bakery items, all in one spot. We tried a Pineland Farms All Natural strip steak from the Meat House, that was INCREDIBLE! Very tender, and very tasty. Well worth the $$$ @ 19.95 lb Steve from the Meat House was very helpful and friendly in describing some of their meats. They also have a 45 day dry aged steak @ $ 23.95 lb I’m definitely trying it next time!!! We also tried out some apple pastries from Finnico’s Bakery, which were some of the best we’ve had. It’s pretty fortunate it’s a little drive to get there, otherwise I’d be there way too often getting those pastries!!! This place is a fantastic idea. Everything under one roof. Wish there were more places like this! Dare I say the old Coke plant in Salem NH would be a great location for one? So glad to see this little market find its niche!!! Great place all around.
