Best authentic Italian food in the area. The usual Italian fare with a Sicilian twist.
Anything from chicken parm with a side of pasta and garlic bread, to some of the signature dishes on the menu. The staff is very friendly, patient and attentive to the customers’ needs; more than willing to explain every dish on the menu and specials off the menu.
A great place to hang out with friends and have a great dinner.
Leave room for an espresso coffee or cappuccino and dessert.
Bring a bottle of your favorite vino.

Very pleasant first visit.
Some say it’s tiny, I found it cozy. Some say it’s loud, I found it vibrant. Server was efficient and kind, food was sincere without being pretentious. Reasonably priced… I’ll definitely return and recommend.
My only suggestion, and it’s a somewhat minor concern: I’d like to see them get rid of plastic and paper and invest in washable, reusable ramekins and napkins. It probably doesn’t cost more after an initial investment, puts less waste in the landfills, and would bring a nice polish to this hidden gem of a restaurant.

Great food. I have never had a bad meal. Byob. Cash only. This place has been around long enough and is well established. Should have moved to larger quarters by now and stepped up to CC and liquor.

What a gem in York! My husband and I have lived in York for 6 months and this is the best restaurant we have discovered thus far. We have been disappointed by chain after chain and this is finally the break for something authentic that we were desperately looking for! The food was awesome and we loved the ambiance. There is quite a menu variety from sandwiches, paninnis, pasta, steak, chicken, and seafood. Prices were inexpensive for great quality food. Go for lunch or dinner. The restaurant is BYOB. We brought a bottle of wine and had a wonderful time. The restaurant is small and cozy and we loved the feel. We met the new owner and he has quite a story. He moved to York to run this restaurant and is putting his heart into making and keeping it great. He cares about this joint and you will know it. We really enjoyed something unique in York. Don’t be deceived from the outside appearance. You are in for a treat inside.

Never dissatisfied. OBSESSED with the red sauce and every dish I’ve eaten has been quite tasty.
If you don’t like noise, crowds, or authentic Italian, don’t go here. The place is teeny tiny with a few tables, limited parking, and, if you come during dinner hours, there will almost always be a wait… But it’s worth it! Unique dining experience. Very friendly staff.
BYOB and I’m like 99% sure that they now accept credit cards! YES PEOPLE, THEY TAKE PLASTIC!

Went to the Moonlight Café for the first time last night and it was AMAZING. We live in Mechanicsburg and I would say Moonlight doesn’t just have the best Italian in all of York, but in all of Central PA. Even my 100% Italian mother loved it! We will definitely be going back.
