Super new nice Starbucks USB plugs for charging if need to use the plug for your laptop. Energy efficient dryers in the bathrooms which I hadn’t seen before but LOVE. This is the first Starbucks I’ve been in where they serve water in crate carriers similar to the ones that coffee is used in. Nice not having to ask for water or water refills all the time!

Customer service is always great here! Quick and friendly service is what I love in the mornings I. My way to work. It’s always stood at when I start it with Starbucks!

Great location being that it’s in Dover and locals don’t have to drive 45 minutes for real Starbucks anymore. Of course there is the kiosk in the Safeway if you count it, but a kiosk takes away from the experience. I was pleasantly surprised to find a Starbucks coffee mug for sale that was made in America. I bought it to support Starbucks efforts to buy and stock«Made in America» products. I don’t mind paying a little more for my coffee and products if it means Americans have jobs and service workers get living wages. My wife’s green tea latte tasted different. The barista explained that the mix was recently changed. She whipped up another drink as a replacement at no charge using the old mix recipe. Ask for the old sweeter recipe if you liked it. The new version is probably better for you since it’s not all sugared up. Great service. Unfortunately I don’t carry cash anymore and the app doesn’t appear to allow tips anymore. We highly recommend this location. Not too hard to get in and out of unless you find yourself in the left northbound lane. If so, you have to do two u-turns to get back Northbound in the right lane to get in to Starbucks.

I don’t mind paying more for Starbucks– when it’s made correctly– it’s worth every penny. Good luck getting that here. I work nearby and as an incentive and/or treat– I like to buy my employees coffee from time to time. It’s convenient, I can order to everyone’s specifications and liking, and pay online and send someone to go get it in a timely fashion. However– every single time, there is an issue if not with just one drink but usually more. Missing syrups, waiting 30 min for a «lost» drink, no whip cream or drizzle, using regular milk instead of soy(and there’s a milk allergy involved)…I’ve never had this issue at any other Starbucks this often. I’ve had to complain/send back so many times– I’m not wasting my breath any more. They need some serious retraining here– I hear many complaints from locals about this place. Corporate needs to fix this ASAP or it won’t be doing much business in the future. I’m going to stick to Mrs Sharon, Tyrik and Corey down at the one in Safeway– never had a single issue there. Tyler is the only bright spot– she is always so nice and sweet and quick to fix the errors.

Lower SLOWER Starbucks… Service at the speed of Dover The coffee is good, of course, but the service here is sad. Just sad

Super excited there is a real Starbucks in Dover. I have been through the drive thru several times and the staff is always friendly and super fast. I have never had an issue with my order and I will be coming back.

Service was a little slow. There was five people behind the counter but it took 5 minutes for them to take our order. I understand they are closing up but they didn’t even aknowledge us.

Coffee was great but that’s all. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by 2 separate employees. It looked like they were closing soon, so people were very busy cleaning/looking preoccupied. I was the only customer. There was 1 person sweeping the floor and 4 people behind the counter. The one guy was working the drive thru and I was standing for approximately 3 minutes. I don’t mind waiting, but if theres a total of 5 employees and 1 customer, why does it take so long to be acknowledged? The guy who took my order was very kind and went back to working the drive thru. As for everyone else– possibly overstaffed for no reason.

While I have issues with their political views coming out in everything they do, they do have good coffee and teas. This is the first real Starbucks in the area and you can tell by how busy it has been. I love the shaken ice green tea and the price is reasonable.

Finally a corporate Starbucks in Kent County. A little over a month old, has a drive thru(definite bonus!), free WiFi, Starbucks reserve coffee, breakfast, lunch/dinner, snacks. Get your stars people, one star per transaction, so unless you’ve got a deal for multiple drinks on one order, split those drink orders up to obtain those stars. The baristas understand.

While the coffee is expensive, the customer service is superb. The store is clean, there is plenty of seating, and the WiFi is free.
