The first time I went here I had my eyebrows done and my hair trimmed and they did a fabulous job and I had excellent service. The last time I went however I had a $ 40 hair treatment done and they took me to a room so that I could blow dry my own sopping wet hair. I thought this was kind of unprofessional and a little embarrassing personally. If I wanted to do my own hair I would have done it at home for free. I will likely not be coming back here.

I have to agree with the previous reviewer. We purchased marketing packages and had our first appointments last week. My hair still feels great from the hair treatment, and we loved the blow out station. I rarely get manicures because they always chip before the end of the day, but this one managed to hold on for several days despite the fact I was really hard on my nails. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and at no point did we feel rushed even though we had payed the reduced marketing rate. I love the hairdresser I have had for years, but I would not hesitate to use The Metrospa for other services and products.

Not to take away from the beauty of this spa, but my review was based on my massages from Liz and Unfortunately Liz is no longer with the metro spa. If you’re serious about your massage for over all wellness, she is the best massage therapists around. She is now at the adagio spa in Barrington.

I have been here many times for hair, face and nails. Plenty of other places with better service, manicures has been hit-or-miss, facials are relaxing but you feel the person is on a stopwatch. I’m sure the owner is far better than her staff but that should reflect in her standards. Needless to say I have taken my business elsewhere.
