Harbor Freight Tools

Well, I have to say, I was very excited to see this harbor Freight open up, as it is much closer than the one I usually go to in Lombard. The service here is AWFUL!
There was only two people working, that I could see, and both were standing at registers. I walked up to one register and the woman was on the phone, I asked her if she was open, and without even making eye contact, she «shuhsed» me by putting her finger up to her lip as if to tell me to be quiet. WHAT?
So i started to walk to the other register and at the same time another customer asked for help. She helped them, OK, but she did not even acknowledge my presence. She then continued to help the other customer, while occasionally glancing at me standing at the counter but she never made an acknowledgement that I was there. After about 5 minutes I was getting impatient, and I saw another customer ask her for help and she helped them! All while I was standing at the register!
Finally she came over and simply asked, «is this all for you»? Well I may have saved a couple dollars by going here, but that was all wasted in time and aggravation. I’ll simply go to Home Depot and be treated like a valuable customer, rather than ignored and having employees gesture to me as if I am troubling them.
If you don’t want to interact with customers, there are plenty of other jobs out there that you can get where no one will speak to you, I suggest these two go get those jobs.
Save yourself some frustration, go somewhere else.
