Charleys Philly Steaks

Have been to this mall plenty of times but have never ate at this location until yesterday. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak and it was so goood! So worth it and must try!

Overpriced steak, it’s so small and just too simple, and the skinny girl who works their got some attitude.

Love this place! Very outgoing and friendly staff. For being a fast food restaurant at the mall, these people know about customer service and food quality. Forget your ordinary Subway, McDonald’s etc. Charley’s is amazing. They work with such professionalism and teamwork. Best thing to eat here is everything. You definitely have to try their Ultimate Fries and strawberry lemonade. Enjoy!

WHY I AM HERE :
I came for the lemonade and learned that there are three flavorings. Shift Manager Melody allowed me to try each (see photo). The flavors are strawberry, peach & blueberry. No regrets. I did the peach and it was amazing with chunks of peach in every sip!
FOOD:
Besides steak there are other options here. Like, chicken and an «Italian Deluxe» which includes turkey, ham and pepperoni.
I’ll be back.

Decent phillys, above average service, and best of all, a coupon on the back of every receipt! Just fill out the survey and you get a free soda and fries with purchase of sandwich on your next visit.
I usually get the chicken teriyaki philly. Which probably shouldn’t even be called a philly, but I’m not going to argue. Tasty sandwich, greasy, but not so greasy that you feel sick afterwards. The fries are pretty standard, but you can pour some special seasoning on that boosts them to pretty good.
You only get one complimentary refill on your soda, but I guess they can’t have people sitting there all day getting free refills.

My favorite place to eat right now, yeah unfortunately it’s in the mall so it gets crowded or you have to get off to eat but the customer service there brings me in. They honestly have amazing customer service and created a relationship with me and my girlfriend and now we’re regulars. I don’t mind waiting in line cause the food is great in my opinion. I used to go to subway a lot until I tried this place, now I get to watch the meat cooked right I front of me and they don’t just put everything on it out of habit like at subway, they wait for you to ask what you would like first. I overall love this place and hope they create another one around Downey with a drive thru.

Food was just alright, but It could’ve been because I took it to-​go and drove it all the way home. I had really great customer service though, and sometimes great customer service makes up for the food. Thank you for your great service Jessica on register, Carlos on the grill and another lady doing the fries+toppings tonight 3÷2÷16 at around 5o’clock. Keep up the good work

It was our first time here and it service wasn’t not to shabby, the sandwich itself was delicious but the only thing was the bacon cheese fries I don’t suggest the bacon the cheese it self would be perfect but other than that it is defiantly a place to come back to!

The whole mall is pretty much bananas because of all the holiday shopping and I thought it was going to take forever to grab a bite. Thankfully Raquel took our order while we were in line to pay and the line moved pretty fast. I mean the last thing people want after a couple of hours of shopping and standing in line is to stand in another line to eat. Mariel then repeated our order as she was charging us and had a nice smile the whole time (All Mariel’s I’ve met are pretty awesome, just saying). Apart from all the madness all the employees here seemed to have everything under control which made me feel better. I felt like the sandwich could’ve used more onion, they weren’t really grilled all the way but still good. Definitely my go to place in this food court.

So today was my first time trying this place put and if you are craving a really delicious sub I would highly recommend this place. I tried their Philly cheese steak and it was so flavorful as well as their chicken California. My favorite drink there was the strawberry lemonade very refreshing and delicious!!! This is my new spot forget subway lol

You want a great sub for a great price, then Charley’s it is! I love this place! Food tastes fresh and made as you order. Customer service is great and they are always giving free samples, which my daughter loves :)

Best sandwich I had hands down ! In my opinion better then subway. Costumer service is 5 stars too .very friendly and smiles everywhere !!! They even let me try a little if the peach drink to make sure it wasn’t too sweet and I would like it ! And they make it right when you order ! The cheese is perfectly melted and the bread is soo warm !! I had the regular fries they were ok !! Oh and they have ketchup and tapatio !!

The service is very friendly and fast, they actually ask how your day is going which is kind of a nice homey feeling, the food on the other hand is filling, The quality of the meat was a little bit on the lower end and the lettuce tasted tasted a little funny but could’ve just been a bad batch, I cannot hold the employees at this specific location accountable for the cheaper quality ingredients that they use for their sandwiches, my overall experience was good and I left delightfully full, I give the food three stars and the service five

My mom and I have always been a fan of Charley’s and we usually go as far as Brea or the commissary just to get it. My mom and I were in the area and was looking for a place nearby to grub. I suggested that we go to the Stonewood Mall to eat and pass time, because I have never been there. I have heard so many bad things about Stonewood from my friends claiming it wasn’t nice.
Service: Friendly service, but the cashier messed up on my order by charging me for 2 fries when I asked for only one combo. I didn’t realize it until I got 2 fries and double checked my receipt.
Food: My mom got the original philly cheese steak and I got the bacon philly cheese steak. We agreed that the quality of their philly cheese steak was not up to par with the other Charley’s. The bread tasted old and they put more vegetables than meat compared to other Charley’s where they had a good portion of meat/​vegetable ratio. If anything the fries we ordered tasted the best. Although we would rather make the drive if we are craving Charley’s.

I had their regular philly cheese steak sandwich. Next time I’ll remember to substitute the white american cheese for provolone cheese. The taste was too overwhelming, nice meat though. But I highly recommend the strawberry lemonade, it was tasty & very refreshing.

I’ve eaten here a few times and it was awesome! I decided to take a friend to try it out and unfortunately I was incredibly disappointed and even disgusted. First off, the employee’s were messing around with the mic while I was waiting there with my money in my hand to pay. Then, while they were making our sandwiches they were discussing about going to strip clubs. (Can you not?) I brushed the bad service off my shoulder and left with my food as it was to go. I got home unwrapped my sandwich and half way through I found a bug in between the paper and foil, I continued to eat because it wasn’t touching the food and I was starving. The next bite I took was full of chicken bone. With my appetite gone, to the garbage the sandwich went. I had such a horrible experience I do not plan on ever going back.

My first time and only time tasting Philly cheese steak sandwiches where here and my… They are so good! I would give it a 5 star but one day I ordered a strawberry lemonade (tastes good) and the girl who was taking my order almost filled up the cup with ice! I told her to take half of what she had put in there. Not mention the cost almost $ 5. Can’t wait to try these type of sandwiches elsewhere!

The service is always great! They always complete my order accurately and without any issues unlike the Signal Hill/​Long Beach location. I used a free fries and drink coupon, I never have problems.
If they do get too busy, I can a slight decrease in service. You are talking to a very small mall location with limited space to fit enough employees to accommodate a large crowd of mall shoppers. The Stonewood locations provide exponential better service with 10 people in line and 5 people awaiting for their food than a sole customer at the Signal Hill/​Long Beach location.

Decided to check out since it was new to the mall and i loved the other Charley restaurants i been too. Its pretty standard with food and service but does get busy at times.

I got suckered in by the samples their sample girl was passing out. The sample chicken sandwich was really good. I decided to eat there. I placed my order and the cashier handed me just one drink. Problem is, I ordered two and I had to show her the receipt. Hello, I just paid for it and you took my order. SMH.
I was number 39 and waited at the pickup window. I hear 37, then 38. Cool, Im next. WRONG!!! The guy called out 40. No big deal, my order should be next. His was probably a simple order. Then came 41, 42, 44, 43. Im getting pissed off at this point and the fry guy notices Im being passed up. He tells the manager if my order is next. Its not even close to being made yet. Im like WTF? He tells me, its only a steak sandwich, it will only take a minute to make. Maybe so, but I have been waiting 6 minutes while everyone after me has gotten their food. Not cool, I told him. He just played it off like it was no big deal.
Finally got my food and it was just ok. Had better. Will never, ever come back. The customer service sucked more than their food. Only good thing is, he hooked me up with extra meat on the sandwich for waiting. It sucked because I placed two orders. Terrible service and terrible attitude.
