Horrible customer service. Girls have a very bad attitude. Not worth waiting in a long line to be treated so badly for junk food. I would go often because my mother loved their food but stop going after the numerous mistakes with our order and bad attitude from all the staff. Can’t wait for them to get some competition that is why they treat people so bad.

I love going to Los Angeles because of Disneyland and Las Palmitas lol. I’m from the Bay Area and every chance I get to go down there I always stop at this place. It is amazing!

Last night 1−9−16 my husband and myself we went to get a raspado and bionico really bad service. A lot of people waiting for their order and the staff seem to be bothered by the customers asking if the orders were ready. The floor and tables need to be clean it was nasty fruit everywhere in floors and the tables need a good cleaning. My raspado was just ice i order a guayava and pineapple and like 4 pieces of fruit i got i asked for extra lechera i got a size of a penny. The bionico was ok but it was bad experience

The food never taste the same, they always cook it differently. One day they’ll marinate chicken, the next they won’t. They’ll add granola sometimes, then other day you got to remind them that it comes with. Ethic businesses must not know about ‘Consistency’ because they just look at you like you’re asking too much… How much are u paying your employees? Lol. You should also teach them the difference between Wheat & White bread and why customers prefer Wheat, because despite how many times I say«Pan de Trigo» they still give me white bread. Maybe they don’t speak Spanish?

This location is bull s&$@! Learn to update your closing times before people drive out of there way to spend money in your establishment. You just lost 4 Downey patrons. You have a banner saying you close at 10pm daily yet you closed at 9pm? You guys are a joke! Get out of Downey.

PEOPLE!!! This place is terrible. It’s the second time I drive from LAX and by the time I get there 9:20pm it’s already closed? But it’s advertisements say 10pm. I went last night and called them and a rude lady answered, she said they closed at 9pm but a worker outside told me they close at 10pm and then he changed it to 9:30pm? Like really, they lost business with my whole family and I’m leaving this so other people stop supporting this location. There is plenty of other places to chose from. Anyhow, think wisely and say no to this place

Honestly, truly disappointed this was my go-to place every time I craved fruit & Aguas Frescas, but after today’s experience I must say its my last time going there. I arrive around 9:28pm expecting for the location to be open. Once I arrived, the front doors were locked I then walk around thru the back & the doors were locked as well, I called the store to ask why the doors were since I was looking forward to purchasing more than $ 20 worth. They told me that they were closed already & before I arrived to this location I checked on Unilocal & online & It states that they are open until 10pm. Outside they’re location there is also a banner stating ‘We’re Open Daily 9am-10pm” & once we called the manager said that they were out of product & that they had nothing more to sell, & she said that the banner was only a summer hours & we are in the winter practically 5 months from summer. I was standing right outside the store & they still had Aguas Frescas & many more other prepped fruit. When I told her that she said that she would open the door. I only bought a pineapple juice & she didn’t apologize or said anything but have attitude towards me. I’m truly disappointed. The owner of the business should train their management to at least not have a bad attitude towards their customers. P. S. This business probably lost about 10 customers this night because the doors were locked before closing hours.

I must say this location is the ; today 01/23/2016 I made the mistake of going to Las Palmitas off at Florence and Otis(bad service, bad order, bad everything) I drove a couple of more miles further to get to this location where they never fail to provide good service and everyone is very nice. I told the girl that took my order about my experience with the other location and she hooked it up good by only charging me for one thing out of 2 things I had ordered. I love their Esquites and Thievy TostiEsquites not to forget the Agua De Piña! I hardly recommend this place to anyone that is looking for something to munch on.

I’m so glad I don’t have to drive all the way to the mercadito to get some esquites. With $ 4 bucks you get a large cup of deliciousness. The raspados are good too! I tried the rompope with lechera had such great flavor not too sweet(just like I like them). I also tried the vanilla raspado that one I did not like so much. The nuez ICECREAM was good as well! The only bad thing is that it’s always packed!!!

Worst customer service I have ever seen. Yesterday, w drove from Whittier and got there at 9:40pm(20 minutes before closing time). When we got there, there were customers inside still ordering. However, we were not allowed to get inside by the manager because they were«closing» as we got there. Both the manager and the employee closing the doors were very rude and cynical as I asked why they were closing 20 minutes before their regular closing time. I have never seen a place that advertises closing at 10pm and closes at 9:40pm for unknown reasons. I used to be a very loyal customer, but after this incident, I am never coming back.

So overall the food and snacks would rate at a 5 for taste and flavor wise. It’s pricier than other places that’s for sure but everyone always comes out good and their selection is great! I wish they had more seating inside, service is OK as well. They have something in there for everyone that’s the cool thing!

Excellent place for the snacks of my childhood in Mexico. From Mangoiadas to Vaso de Elote to tostilocos. Pretty awesome selection. Only thing not cool is that they will charge you 75 cents if you use a credit card. Just not right.

This place would get 5 stars if they would have better customer service. Ladies behind counter never say«Hello» & «thank you». A smile would go a long way :) They have good quality fruit products/choices. I like coming here but their service needs to improve. There are plenty of other choices in our area for fruit. Hope management resolves service issues.

They charge you .75 cents to use your debit/credit card. Absolutely ridiculous. I was surprised to find this out after my card was swiped. Especially since it had not happen before. The place is average, lines are long, and the staff is slow. Too bad Unilocal doesn’t have a 0STARS option

I Ordered a Corn in a cup and it was beyond salty. Could not eat had to throw away. What a waste of time and money. I Called them to let them know, Daniella responded with no one else is complaining, Wow… Ok this place is falling apart with their new employees. The cheese was spoiled.

My first time @ a bionicos and it is AMAZING! This place is packed, the line extends to the street and after having what they serve I know why… We ordered : –lemon slush –pecans icy(condense milk, crushed pecans syrup, whole pecans on shaved ice) –chamango(mango ice cream, fresh mango, and some kind of sweet and tangy chile sauce) –cup corn(original with crème, grated cheese, and chili powder) Everything was bomb except for the lemon slush, it was way too syrupy and super sour yuck.

Seeing that this place is almost always crowded keeps me away. Recently, I had some time to drop in; just in time before the line got long. Phew!!! They have so many options to choose from, all kinds of Mexican favorites, but I already knew what I wanted. The esquite con elote cocido and a raspado de coco con nuez. I’m always out for coffee, teas, and juices, so this was nice for a change. Now that I’ve gone I see why the lines are so long. The raspado was the best I’ve had this side of the border. They top it off with some pecans for extra nuttiness. As for the esquite, it tasted pretty normal but the serving was large and at a decent price. Another difference is that they offer the elote quemado, which means they’ll let the corn kernels cook longer so that they become smoky in taste and burnt in appearance. Overall, I liked the quality and the different offerings. Not so pleased with the overall cleanliness of the place, but it shouldn’t be that big a deal if you’re just picking something up and taking off right after.
