Sushi & Teriyaki Plus

WOWOWWWWEW these guys are just AWESOME!!!
The place is so clean you could eat off the bathroom floor (the toilet for that matter, not that I’d suggest that)!!!
I was so impressed with their kitchen which is open for the public to see… I can understand why, they wanna show off that clean stainless steel beauty!
Their tables, trash cans, everything that most eaterys let go throughout the day looked like they had just come out of the factory!
The food was unbelievably delicious the portions were ridiculous!!! We got extra meat for $ 1.50 only it was like 3 times the normal order probably 1lb of chicken!!!
The owner came to our table checked in on us multiple times and it’s not a wait the table style restaurant!!!
We got food to go for my dad, the owner came to the table to bag it cause we got it with our normal order brought sauce and napkins!!!
Checked on us again asked where we are from!!!
Thanked us over and over the prices were great!!!
And he even came outside and waived good bye to us as we drove away
My mom and I loved the place we’ll be back for more!!!

This place is a must, you need to come and try it out, family owned and operated, wonderful service and clean. The amount of food you get for your dollar you can’t find that anywhere else here in downey or any other restaurants near by.

This place is a great! Their price is more than fair and they have good quality of sushi & teriyaki. Especially, their baked salmon roll and orange chicken are unbelievable. Under the new management, the service is also very nice and kind. Check it out! You’ll love it.

So happy I found this place! I work down the street and having a great sushi at a great value is what we needed! Great tasting food & service! Will be my go to for sushi.

Finally some legit sushi roll place in Downey! My husband and I ordered Crunch Roll, Shrimp Tempura, and Beef Yakisoba. And we enjoyed every bites of them! It was right balance of savory and sweetness. This is a great place for lunch especially if you work around here. The place is clean and staffs are friendly. Definitely coming back.

Really upset with the new food being sold at this business. I had been a faithful customer for over 10 years and now I am sad to learn that the business was sold. I will not be going to this establishment any longer.

Great place, very friendly staff and super clean. Had the Chicken Yaki Soba and egg rolls. Will definitely come back.

The teriyaki bowl is great, they were quick and I only spent 5.50 on my food, I would definitely go again

Im more upset that the owners sold their business. Om going to miss their noodles so much. I can get this type of food anywhere. The old owners had something special. :(:(

This place is complete garbage now! It’s your normal nasty teriyaki place right up the street. Does anyone know where the old owners are?! Their menu and taste was amazing! I will definitely never in my life even consider stopping by here again. BRING THE OLD OWNERS BACK!!!

Had the California tempura and the beef bowl, the portions and they’re very nice and friendly, first time getting take out from there and I will be going back. The price is reasonable will be back to try other plates from the menu,

Only accepts cash which is inconvenient. The Thai tea is almost 5 $ which is a rip off. I like the noodles and chicken teriyaki.

They have the BEST KBBQ short ribs to go in Downey. That’s pretty much what I order ⁹⁄₁₀ times.
Chicken bowl is decent, so is the beef bowl but if you’re really hungry get the short ribs plate!
Seating is very limited so order to go if you can.

Cash only. I come here most often for the lunch special (California rolls with miso soup), but shave tried almost everything on the menu. The noodles are delicious but greasy and the veggies are just sad steamed veggies (I always get extra noodles instead). The teriyaki beef and chicken are very good. I don’t know if I would come here if it weren’t right down the street from me but I’m glad it is. I’ve been coming to this place for years and it’s very consistent and the 2 ladies that work there know me and remember my order.

This place is perfect for lunch. They are fast and take phone orders for quick pickup. Food is tasty with decent variety for a teriyaki place

Maybe I caught them on a bad day and will try it again, when I go to the Library down there. The day I went, it kind of reminded me of Beef Bowl. Stand by for a update.

This is a late review but i still remember how greasy their food was I didn’t like it so i wont be going back there though the girl on the cashier was really nice and sweet. i didn’t even finish the food i felt like i was eating oil eww!
