Ok place to go on a summer’s night. They do have lots of flavors to choose from. Most we have tried have been good, but I do agree with the one reviewer about one of the real banana things. I decided to try a smashed banana, thinking it would be healthy and yummy but it was pretty gross. I think they just smash and blend up a banana and maybe add some custard to it? Anyway, perhaps the banana they used was past it’s prime or something… it had a really awful taste to it. I’d stick to the soft serve and thought it was pretty good. My son loves it and is always begging to go there on a summer night after leaving the Lloyd Avenue dog park with the pups.(and hey… suggestion to the owners that I just thought about… you really should offer Frosty Paws.(the ice cream for dogs), for all of the dog park patrons since it’s so close, and even maybe put some advertising or coupons up there as a marketing tool!

Disgusting ice cream. They make one flavor and then add flavoring to make the other 23… It tastes like chemicals and the consistency is horrible. Also seems like the machines are dirty. I would avoid this place at all costs!

Their soft serve is rather airy… not thick and creamy not good at all. 2nd visit I tried the hand scooped pb cup fudge and it tasted like freezer spoil… and nowhere posted was the mfr of the ice cream very leery could be eating store brand like Finast(Giant is down the road) so for 3.00 bucks I could’ve picked up by own at the store. My kid had the coffee handscooped and said it was lousy said she likes Turkey hill brand better. Basically wasted 7 bucks overall!

Neat place. They have multiple water ice flavors and lots and lots of soft serve flavors.

Ok, the previous reviewer was accurate in their description of the soft serve at Crazy Cones. But we visited several times this summer and I typically got the Arctic Swirl, a.k.a. a DQ blizzard. Those have been good, and the employees I have encountered have been nice and friendly. Crazy Cones is not gourmet, hand-made ice cream, but it is definitely tasty if you choose carefully. Plus, they have a million options on the menu aside from the soft serve — shakes, water ice, hard ice cream, and slurpees to name a few. They close up for the winter October 2nd, but reopen again in April. We’ll be back!

Yikes. Their big gimmick, «24 flavors of soft-serve», is totally misleading. This is not soft-serve as you know it — where it comes out of the machine already flavored. What they do(hold on to your hats) is they swirl plain soft serve into a cup, then they have a wall of artificial flavors that come in syrup form. They pump the artificial flavor into the cup with the soft serve, then blend it up like a milkshake and re-swirl it into a cone or cup. It is super weird, and they taste TERRIBLE. I mean, JUSTTERRIBLE. This is the worst soft serve I have ever had. The banana tasted like someone picked melted now-n-later candies off a car floor and then squeezed the flavor out of them and made it into ice cream. The mint? like the worst, crappiest mint gum that someone added too much«green dye flavor #40» to. Of course, how good did you think«strawberry flavor» would be if it was squirted out in purell-like form? Go to Ritas, just a block down, and get their frozen, delicious custard.
