I’ve been taking my bikes to Solid Performance since they opened, and I have been very, very happy with their service and advice. All of their work has been top-notch. I ride KTM two-strokes and I used to ride a CRF250X/Christini. Single track and an occasional enduro. I have had suspension work, engine work and annual overhauls done by them. And sometimes an occasional quick fix. And sometimes when I just need advice on something(best tires, bike set-up, suggested equipment changes that I can do, etc. etc.). I have had work done by Evan and also by their other mechanics. Every time I brought my bike in the shop, Evan did a walk-around to see what needed to be done and to spot things that I might have missed(worn parts or something broken, usually). He made add’l maintenance suggestions where appropriate. He catches everything, including a lot of things I would not normally see or be aware of. A few times, additional problems were found after the work began, and they called me to discuss it. Seems like nothing gets missed. They can be busy. At times, it’s taken up to two weeks to get my bike back. But, I’ve found if I ask for quicker turn around(«hey, I’ve got a race this weekend…») they can usually accommodate me. I am a weekend warrior(as are most of us) and I count on my bike being ready to ride each weekend. In my experience, when I have brought my bike to Solid Performance it has been ready to ride every weekend for a long time. I’ve never had a bike problem due to an error by Solid Performance.

I drove 1.5 hours to drop my KTM here for service. I was very impressed with the attention to detail when I dropped off my bike. Evan knew my bike better that I did for sure. I was on the fence about buying a new one this year, but he convinced me that I had a good bike and that it was worth keeping. They called me a few days later with a very detailed list of issues. We discussed all the details and in the end I felt very comfortable with my choice. The bike was done when we agreed and the price was where it was quoted. You can expect a VERYVERY busy shop. They do amazing work and they charge a reasonable rate. You can get cheaper work done for sure, but if cheap and good are never in the same sentence. My 3 hours of driving there and back was worth it. When I buy my next bike, it will be from Solid. No question. I had a great conversation with Kevin about my next bike already. Thank you SOLID!
